❌ SOUTHERN LEBANON: The IDF says troops from the 55th Brigade, operating under the 91st Division in the Security Zone, located and dismantled a Hezbollah terrorist hideout containing a shaft, along with ready-to-use rocket launchers.
The launchers contained 32 rockets aimed at Israeli territory that had been left in the area before the ceasefire agreement took effect. The troops are operating to remove threats to Israel.
Separately, troops from the 810th “Mountains” Regional Brigade found a Hezbollah rocket launcher and several projectiles yesterday during searches on the Lebanese side of Mount Dov, within the military’s southern Lebanon buffer zone. The rockets were likely left behind when the ceasefire took effect in April.
The IDF said it would not allow Hezbollah to harm Israeli civilians or troops and would continue removing threats while remaining committed to the ceasefire agreement.
🎯 GAZA: The IDF says it eliminated two Hamas terrorists in separate strikes yesterday after they advanced attacks against Israeli troops and civilians, worked to restore Hamas’s capabilities and posed an immediate threat.
In Khan Younis, the military eliminated Rafat Abu Zamar, a company commander in Hamas’s operations headquarters. According to the IDF, he led training for Hamas operatives ahead of the October 7, 2023, massacre and recently continued training operatives and developing the terrorist organization’s combat capabilities.
A separate strike in Gaza City eliminated Muhammad Khader Fahmi Aghour, whom the IDF identified as a Hamas operative involved in weapons production.
The military said both had acted “in systematic violation of the ceasefire,” and that the strikes were carried out to remove the threat they posed.
