The suspects were transferred to Israeli security forces for further investigation. The military said operations continue throughout Judea and Samaria to thwart terrorism and apprehend wanted individuals.

⚔️ Reservist Seriously Wounded in Southern Lebanon: An IDF reservist from the 679th "Yiftah" Armored Brigade was severely wounded during a close-quarters encounter with a Hezbollah gunman in the Bint Jbeil area. According to the IDF's initial investigation, the attacker opened fire during brigade operations, seriously wounding the soldier before escaping. Israeli forces responded with tank fire against the building from which the attack originated, while the Israeli Air Force struck additional targets in the area. Ground forces continued searching for the gunman the following morning. The wounded reservist was evacuated for medical treatment, and his family was notified.

🤝 IDF Recognizes U.S. Air Defense Contribution: During a General Staff situational assessment, Chief of the General Staff LTG Eyal Zamir presented an IDF Certificate of Appreciation to CPT Nathan John Pernot, commander of the U.S. "Bravo" Battery, along with additional commanders. The award recognized the U.S. air defense contingent's service throughout the war and highlighted the close operational partnership, professionalism, and innovation demonstrated by the U.S. military and the IDF in defending Israel.

🛰️ Report Describes U.S. Concerns During Iran Negotiations: According to The New York Times, citing current and former U.S. officials, Washington believed Israel may have considered targeting senior Iranian negotiators during U.S.-Iran interim peace talks earlier this year. The report says American officials asked several regional countries to warn Iran, fearing such an operation could derail negotiations and reignite the conflict. Iran reportedly responded by significantly increasing security around its delegation, including military escorts and revised travel arrangements.

🇮🇷 Iran Holds Funeral Ceremonies for Ali Khamenei: Iranian officials said representatives from roughly 100 countries are attending funeral ceremonies for former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, including multiple heads of state, parliamentary leaders, foreign ministers, and senior delegations. Officials said countries viewed as supporting Israeli and U.S. military actions were not invited. Iranian representatives also stated that Mojtaba Khamenei is unlikely to attend because security officials judged the risk too high, despite his reported wish to lead the funeral prayers.

🌐 Foreign Delegations Gather in Tehran: Senior representatives from Pakistan, China, Iraq's Kurdistan Region, Hezbollah, and the family of former Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah are among those attending the ceremonies. Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and senior military officials are also expected to participate in official memorial events.
