🎯 SENIOR IRANIAN INTELLIGENCE COMMANDER ELIMINATED IN TEHRAN: Israeli officials confirm that Mehdi Rastami Sh'mastan, a senior commander in Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence, was eliminated earlier this week in a targeted Israeli Air Force strike in Tehran based on joint intelligence from the IDF, Mossad, and the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet).
Sh'mastan was identified as a central figure in directing and advancing terrorist activities against Israeli and Jewish targets worldwide. In recent years, he played a key role in planning and executing attacks against high-value Israeli objectives.
IDF Spokesman Brig. Gen. Effie Defrin said in a press conference that the strike was carried out on Wednesday following "joint intelligence research by the Military Intelligence Directorate, the Mossad, and the Shin Bet." Defrin said Sh'mastan was "a key figure in advancing terror activity against Israeli and Jewish civilians in Israel and around the world."
The Iranian Ministry of Intelligence is described as a primary arm of the regime’s security apparatus, responsible for surveillance, espionage, and coordinating covert operations and terror activities domestically and internationally. His elimination is part of a broader campaign targeting Iranian regime leadership, including multiple commanders within the ministry who have been struck during the ongoing operation.
