⚠️ POTENTIAL FIRE FROM LEBANON: Following a situational assessment, the IDF says an increase in fire from Lebanon toward northern Israel is possible amid recent developments.
The public is instructed to remain vigilant, act responsibly, and continue following Home Front Command protective guidelines.
The IDF says any change in the situational assessment will be communicated and that it is prepared to operate both defensively and offensively.
🪖 IDF OPERATIONS IN SOUTHERN LEBANON: Nahal Brigade soldiers, under the command of the 162nd Division, continue targeted ground operations in southern Lebanon.
In coordination with the Air Force, the troops dismantled dozens of Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure sites, including anti-tank positions, observation posts, and weapons storage facilities.
During searches in the area, troops located Hezbollah weapons inside a civilian home.
The weapons included Kalashnikov rifles, magazines, and military vests.
🎯 CLASH IN BINT JBEIL: During overnight operations in Bint Jbeil, IDF soldiers from the Paratroopers Brigade encountered a terrorist cell of three operatives that opened fire at them.
Three IDF soldiers were severely injured, one was moderately injured, and six additional soldiers were lightly injured in the incident.
The troops returned fire, eliminated two terrorists, and struck the area from which the attack was carried out.
A third terrorist was identified attempting to flee, and was then struck and eliminated in a rapid follow-up response.
❌ HAMAS TERRORISTS ELIMINATED IN GAZA: IDF troops identified and eliminated armed Hamas terrorists in separate incidents in the central and northern Gaza Strip.
One incident took place on Monday night in central Gaza, and a separate incident took place Tuesday in the Yellow Line area, where an armed terrorist approached the troops' position and posed an immediate threat.
In both cases, IDF troops carried out precise strikes to remove the immediate danger to forces operating in the area.
❌ HAMAS TERROR CELL ELIMINATED BEFORE IMMINENT ATTACK IN CENTRAL GAZA: Last week, the IDF, guided by Southern Command and the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet), struck a number of armed Hamas terrorists who had approached the Yellow Line and were planning an imminent attack against IDF troops operating in central Gaza.
The military says the terrorists posed an immediate threat and were eliminated in a precise strike.
Among those eliminated was Yousef Ibrahim Mahmoud Basheti. The IDF says he was part of the cell that fired anti-tank missiles toward structures in which IDF soldiers were operating, as well as toward a tank securing the troops, in an attack that killed 21 IDF soldiers.
Additional Hamas terrorists were also eliminated, including a Nukhba terrorist, an operative in Hamas’ military wing who was also an officer in the Hamas police, and three additional Hamas terrorists.
The IDF says Basheti’s elimination constitutes a significant step in addressing one of the most severe attacks carried out against IDF troops during the war.
