🇮🇱 IDF HITS HAMAS ARMS NETWORK AS GOVERNMENT APPROVES WOUNDED AND ANTI-CRIME REFORMS

💥 IDF DISMANTLES FOUR HAMAS WEAPONS STORAGE FACILITIES: Overnight, the IDF struck and dismantled four Hamas weapons storage facilities in the central Gaza Strip.

The sites contained Kalashnikov rifles, RPGs, grenades, explosive devices and additional military equipment intended for attacks against IDF troops operating near the Yellow Line and Israeli civilians. The facilities were dismantled to remove the threat.

🎯 HAMAS BATTALION SNIPER COMMANDER ELIMINATED: In a precise strike yesterday in the central Gaza Strip, the IDF eliminated Omar Ahmed Abu Qasem, a Battalion Sniper Commander in Hamas’ military wing.

Abu Qasem participated in terrorist attacks against IDF troops throughout the war. In recent months, he attempted to reestablish Hamas’ military wing and advanced additional attacks against IDF forces in violation of the ceasefire agreement.

🩹 GOVERNMENT APPROVES MAJOR REFORM FOR WOUNDED IDF AND SECURITY PERSONNEL: The government adopted the Mor-Yosef Committee’s recommendations and approved a comprehensive reform of Israel’s treatment and rehabilitation system for wounded IDF soldiers and security personnel, including those with physical and psychological injuries.

The Defense Ministry’s Rehabilitation Division will be transformed into a national authority. The plan will reduce bureaucratic barriers and waiting times, introduce advanced technologies, substantially expand staffing and provide significant additional funding.

Services will be broadened across rehabilitation, healthcare, mental health and access to benefits and entitlements. Support will also be strengthened for families accompanying wounded personnel through lengthy and complex rehabilitation processes.

The reform was developed in cooperation with the IDF Disabled Veterans Organization and advanced by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Israel Katz and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich.

Netanyahu said it would provide comprehensive support and ensure wounded personnel receive their full rights “quickly, respectfully and sensitively.”

Katz described the decision as a historic reform that fundamentally changes how Israel supports its wounded, while stressing that the government must now fully implement its recommendations. Smotrich said the plan translates Israel’s national obligation to its wounded into action and will substantially improve the services and support provided to them.

❌ SHIN BET AND POLICE ROLE IN COMBATING SERIOUS CRIME EXPANDED: The government approved a plan led by Netanyahu, Social Equality Minister Mai Golan and National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir to expand Shin Bet and police involvement in combating serious crime in Arab communities.

Approximately NIS 364.5 million will be allocated to the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) to establish a specialized unit focused on weapons smuggling and trafficking and to strengthen intelligence and operational capabilities.

An additional NIS 132.4 million will fund a national Israel Police unit dedicated to combating crime in Arab communities, including the development of technological systems and procurement of advanced operational equipment.

The plan also provides for 130 additional Shin Bet positions beginning in 2026, alongside a permanent annual budget allocation of NIS 35 million from 2026.

🛩️ NETANYAHU’S EXPECTED WASHINGTON VISIT POSTPONED: Funeral services for Senator Lindsey Graham are now expected to be postponed until the end of the month.

As a result, the Prime Minister’s Office said Netanyahu is no longer expected to travel to Washington next week.
