🛡️ IDF EXPANDS OPERATIONS AGAINST HEZBOLLAH IN LEBANON AS GAZA BRIGADE DEPUTY COMMANDER IS ELIMINATED AND ISRAEL SEVERS TIES WITH UN SECRETARY-GENERAL’S OFFICE

⚔️ IDF Chief of Staff: Hezbollah Has Suffered “Unprecedented” Damage

IDF Chief of Staff LTG Eyal Zamir said Hezbollah has suffered “significant and unprecedented” cumulative damage, with more than 7,500 terrorists eliminated since the start of the war, including 2,500 since the launch of Operation Roaring Lion.

Speaking during a visit to IDF positions in the Mount Dov sector alongside senior Northern Command officers, Zamir said the IDF will continue striking Hezbollah “wherever required” and expand operational achievements across southern Lebanon.

He stated that no location in Lebanon can serve as a safe haven or immunity zone for Hezbollah. He said the Forward Defense Line continues serving as a base for operations aimed at dismantling Hezbollah infrastructure, pushing the terror threat farther from Israeli civilians, and strengthening security for northern communities.

Zamir added that every strike against Hezbollah also damages the broader Iranian terror axis and Iran’s regional proxy investments.

Addressing the drone threat, Zamir said the IDF is dedicating extensive operational and technological resources toward new countermeasures already being integrated into the field.

He added that Israel will continue targeting Hezbollah drone launch squads, operators, and commanders “at every level,” from tactical field operatives to senior leadership.

Zamir also stressed that the IDF remains at a high level of readiness against Iran and said significant military resources continue to be concentrated in the Northern Command.

🚨 Hostile Aircraft Infiltration Alerts in Northern Israel

Sirens regarding a hostile aircraft infiltration were sounded in the areas of Even Menachem, Hanita, Misgav Am, and Margaliot.

Following the alerts, the Israeli Air Force intercepted a suspicious aerial target identified in the area where IDF soldiers are operating in southern Lebanon.

❌ Deputy Commander of Hamas’ Gaza City Brigade Eliminated

The IDF and Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) confirmed the elimination of Imad Hassan Hussein Aslim, Deputy Commander of Hamas’ Gaza Brigade and Commander of the Zeitoun Battalion in Hamas’ military wing.

According to the IDF, Aslim commanded the battalion’s terrorist infiltration into Israeli territory during the October 7 massacre.

The IDF said that in recent years, and particularly during recent times, Aslim advanced dozens of imminent attacks against IDF soldiers operating in the Gaza Strip and posed an immediate threat to them.

Another Hamas terrorist was present at the site that was struck. The results of the strike remain under review.

The IDF stated that prior to the strike, steps were taken to mitigate harm to civilians, including the use of precise munitions and aerial surveillance.

IDF troops under the Southern Command remain deployed in accordance with the ceasefire agreement and will continue operating to remove immediate threats.

❗️Israel Severs Ties With UN Secretary-General’s Office

Israel announced it is freezing ties with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres’ Office after the UN added Israeli entities to its “conflict-related sexual violence blacklist.”

Israeli officials called the decision “shameful and absurd,” accusing the UN of attempting to create “a fake symmetry between Israel and the real sexual atrocities committed by Hamas.”

Israel stated that António Guterres “has chosen to violate every standard of honesty, integrity, and professionalism” and accused him of exploiting his final months in office to fabricate “baseless accusations against Israel.”

According to the statement, Israel has “comprehensively, thoroughly, and unequivocally refuted” the allegations and will sever all ties with the Secretary-General’s Office until a new UN Secretary-General is appointed.
