⚔ Southern Lebanon operations: IDF troops from the 769th Brigade, under the 91st Division, continue targeted ground operations in southern Lebanon. During the activity, Unit 869 identified two terrorist cells attempting to carry out attacks on the forces, and both were eliminated in drone and joint Israeli Air Force strikes.
Troops located large quantities of weapons, including Kalashnikov rifles, RPG launchers, anti-tank rockets, and an underground storage facility containing mortar shells.
Separately, Commando Brigade forces under the 98th Division continued operations in the Bint Jbeil area. Egoz Unit soldiers raided a combat compound and located dozens of weapons stored within a civilian area, including an anti-aircraft missile and surveillance equipment.
In parallel activity, Maglan Unit soldiers eliminated dozens of terrorists operating from the area and attempting to attack IDF forces. Following the searches, approximately 70 Hezbollah terror infrastructure sites were dismantled within one minute.
In an additional operation in Bint Jbeil, IDF troops located more than 130 weapons hidden inside a school, including rifles and pistols, along with Hezbollah insignia. The weapons were confiscated as forces continued clearing operations.
🚢 Naval interceptions: Israeli Navy missile boat crews intercepted a UAV launched overnight from Lebanon toward Israeli territory. Since the start of Operation Roaring Lion, naval forces have carried out around 40 defensive interceptions of UAVs targeting Israeli civilians.
🚀 Northern front fire: A missile was launched overnight from Lebanon toward the southern Haifa Bay area. The projectile struck an open area, and no sirens were activated in any towns.
🎯 Gaza strikes: IDF forces under Southern Command eliminated Ahmed Abu Khdeira, a commander in Hamas’ Communications Unit in Gaza City, in a precise aerial strike after he was identified advancing imminent attack plans against IDF troops.
Earlier in the week, two additional Hamas commanders from the Production Unit, Islam Hisham Riyad Kanita and Mahmoud Hamed Youssef Hamdouna, were eliminated while working to rebuild the organization’s military capabilities, including during the ceasefire period.
Prior to the strikes, measures were taken to reduce civilian harm, including the use of precise munitions and aerial surveillance. IDF forces remain deployed in the area and continue operations to remove immediate threats.
