🇮🇱 IDF APPREHENDS HEZBOLLAH RADWAN TERRORIST, ARRESTS 20 WANTED SUSPECTS IN JUDEA AND SAMARIA AS SECURITY AND POLITICAL DEBATE CONTINUES

❌ 20 wanted suspects arrested across Judea and Samaria: Overnight, IDF forces carried out dozens of counterterrorism operations across Judea and Samaria, apprehending 20 wanted individuals.

Those arrested included suspects allegedly planning to carry out a terror attack, an arms dealer, a suspect involved in smuggling illegal entrants, and several suspects affiliated with the Hamas terrorist organization.

✈️ Airborne operation completed near Jenin: IDF soldiers completed an airborne operation in the Menashe Brigade area, searching more than 50 structures around Jenin.

Following overnight gunfire in Hebron, forces arrested five suspects and questioned additional suspects in the Judea Brigade area.

In the Tulkarm area, IDF soldiers and Israel Border Police officers apprehended four Hamas-affiliated suspects, along with another wanted suspect on suspicion of incitement to terrorism in the Funduq area.

🎯 Hezbollah Radwan Force terrorist apprehended: The IDF confirmed that soldiers apprehended an additional Hezbollah terrorist during operations yesterday in the Bint Jbeil area, where forces also encountered terrorists last Thursday.

According to the IDF, the suspect is a member of Hezbollah's Radwan Force, the organization's elite commando unit responsible for carrying out attacks against IDF soldiers and Israeli civilians throughout the war.

The terrorist was transferred to Unit 504 for further questioning in Israeli territory.

🇮🇱 IDF chief again calls for expanding military service: IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir reiterated that the military requires additional manpower to fulfill the missions assigned by the government.

"We must significantly expand the ranks of the IDF so that it can meet all the missions assigned to it. The responsibility rests with all of us, the IDF needs everyone," Zamir said.

"We must not exempt ourselves from the burden of the commandment to defend the state, it is an operational necessity and a Zionist and moral duty," he added.

🔸 Eizenkot says Shas could be a political partner if it backs enlistment: Speaking with Yishai Cohen, Gadi Eizenkot said he views Shas as a party with broad Zionist elements and a potential political partner if it accepts his three core principles, including military enlistment.

"A large part of Shas voters serve in the army. I saw them as Chief of Staff," Eizenkot said.

"I see Shas as a party that serves and is integrated. Shas is a party with very broad Zionist elements."

He added that Shas "is supposed to bring a positive message" and said, "I say this as the son of a mother who voted for Shas for 30 years." Eizenkot also said he saw Aryeh Deri make "a significant contribution" over two decades in government, while noting there were also cabinets in which he had serious disagreements with him.
