❌ MORE THAN 200 WANTED INDIVIDUALS APPREHENDED IN JUDEA AND SAMARIA: Over the past week, IDF troops conducted dozens of counterterrorism operations throughout Judea and Samaria.
More than 200 wanted individuals were apprehended, including individuals involved in promoting and inciting terrorism, suspects affiliated with Hamas, a wanted individual planning an imminent terrorist attack, suspects involved in smuggling illegal residents, arms dealers and an individual involved in manufacturing explosive devices.
Troops confiscated dozens of items used to manufacture weapons, airsoft weapons, hunting rifles, a pistol, a UAV and tens of thousands of shekels intended for terrorist activity. Five explosive devices were also located and dismantled.
The IDF completed the mapping of the homes of two terrorists who carried out last weekend’s attack. One of the homes was sealed ahead of its demolition.
⚔️ IDF OFFICER MODERATELY INJURED IN SOUTHERN LEBANON: Overnight, IDF soldiers identified several Hezbollah terrorists in the Ali al-Taher Ridge area of the Security Zone, where Israeli troops are operating.
The soldiers struck and eliminated the terrorists to remove the threat. An IDF officer was moderately injured during the encounter and evacuated to a hospital for treatment. His family was notified.
💥 IDF TUNNEL DEMOLITION REGISTERED AS MAGNITUDE 3.8 EARTHQUAKE: The Lebanese Seismological Center recorded a magnitude 3.8 earthquake as a result of an IDF explosion carried out to destroy tunnels in the Bofor area.
🛡️ 401ST BRIGADE COMPLETES EIGHT-MONTH LEBANON MISSION: Operating under the 91st Division, the brigade conducted defensive operations along the border and operations inside the Security Zone to remove threats to Israel.
During the mission, troops dismantled more than 1,200 Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure sites, including underground routes extending hundreds of meters in total. The tunnels were dismantled in cooperation with Yahalom troops.
The brigade also located more than 600 weapons and struck and eliminated more than 60 Hezbollah terrorists.
“Our mission was clear: to prevent and push back the threat to Israeli civilians. This was the objective we repeated to ourselves every morning and every evening. The brigade’s achievements in Lebanon came at a heavy cost. We will always remember the brigade’s fallen, and they will remain in our hearts forever. With the loss of every fallen troop, we grieve and bow our heads. At the same time, we immediately regroup and remain focused on completing the mission to ensure that their sacrifice was not in vain,” said 401st Brigade Commander COL Yoav Schneider.
