❗️HEZBOLLAH MISSILE BARRAGE TOWARD CENTRAL ISRAEL UPDATE: Sirens sounded in several areas after multiple projectiles crossed from Lebanon into Israeli territory. The Israeli Air Force intercepted several launches, while additional projectiles fell in open areas.
A report was also received regarding an impact in central Israel. Search and Rescue forces are operating at locations where reports of fallen projectiles were received, and the circumstances of the incident are under review.
Hezbollah used precise ground-to-ground missiles in the barrage. Magen David Adom initially reported treating two people who were lightly injured in central Israel, including a 32-year-old man who was hit by a flying object and a 38-year-old woman who sustained a leg injury.
Magen David Adom later said four people at an impact site in Ramle were lightly wounded by a blast and glass shards. Damage was also caused to a daycare facility.
The IDF said it is investigating the circumstances of the impact, including the fact that sirens did not sound in the area.
💥 IDF STRIKES MISSILE LAUNCHER IN SOUTHERN LEBANON: Within minutes of the attack, the IDF struck the missile launcher that fired the missiles toward Israel. Footage was released from the strike on the launcher.
The Israeli Air Force is also conducting extensive strikes in southern Lebanon.
💥 IDF STRIKES IRGC UAV HEADQUARTERS AND MISSILE INFRASTRUCTURE IN IRAN: The Israeli Air Force, acting on IDF intelligence, completed an additional wave of strikes on dozens of infrastructure sites belonging to the Iranian regime across several areas in Iran.
As part of the operation, the IDF targeted an IRGC UAV headquarters from which UAVs were launched toward the State of Israel. Additional UAVs prepared for launch were also stored at the facility.
The effort to further degrade the regime’s firing and defense capabilities is continuing alongside the expansion of strikes on ballistic missile production infrastructure throughout Iran.
🏫 EDUCATION SYSTEM TO PARTIALLY REOPEN IN YELLOW ZONES: Education Minister Yoav Kisch announced that beginning Wednesday, the education system will reopen in areas defined by the Home Front Command as yellow zones.
Municipalities that request exceptions and receive Home Front Command approval will be reviewed and are also likely to receive approval from the Ministry of Education.
In locations where the education system reopens, local authorities will be required to provide care for the young children of educational staff when no other educational framework is available. The measure is intended to enable their return to regular activity.
Due to the complexity and risks involved in transportation at this time, transportation for special education students will initially be the responsibility of parents.
