⚔️ FIVE IDF SOLDIERS INJURED IN HEZBOLLAH DRONE ATTACK IN SOUTHERN LEBANON: Five IDF soldiers were injured this morning in a Hezbollah FPV explosive drone attack in southern Lebanon.
At approximately 6:00 a.m., a Hezbollah FPV drone exploded next to a tank in Kfar Tebnit, near Nabatieh. Four soldiers were wounded by shrapnel.
Several minutes later, a second FPV drone exploded near a vehicle being used to evacuate the wounded soldiers, injuring a fifth soldier.
One soldier was seriously wounded, two were moderately wounded, and two were lightly wounded. All were airlifted to hospital, and their families were notified.
Following the attack, the IDF carried out artillery fire against Hezbollah infrastructure in the area.
🛡️ AERIAL INCIDENTS ALONG THE NORTHERN BORDER: An interceptor was launched toward a suspicious aerial target identified in the area where IDF forces are operating in southern Lebanon. The incident concluded without injuries, and no sirens were sounded in accordance with protocol.
🎯 FOUR OCTOBER 7 TERRORISTS ELIMINATED IN GAZA: The IDF announced the elimination of four terrorists who participated in the October 7 massacre and continued terrorist activity during the war.
In central Gaza, the IDF eliminated Ahmad Abu Hin, a Hamas military wing sniper cell commander, and Mahmoud Walid Jabr Abu Hin, a Hamas terrorist. Both infiltrated Israeli territory during the October 7 massacre.
According to the IDF, both were recently involved in efforts to reestablish Hamas terrorist capabilities in violation of the ceasefire agreement and to advance attacks against IDF troops and Israel.
Over the weekend, the IDF eliminated Muhammad Sa’id Ahmad Nimrouti, a Hamas platoon commander who infiltrated Israel on October 7 and took part in holding numerous hostages captive in Hamas tunnels.
In a separate strike in central Gaza, the IDF eliminated Mu’awiya Suleiman Saqr Ayadi, a platoon commander in Islamic Jihad’s Central Camps Brigade who infiltrated Kibbutz Be’eri during the October 7 massacre.
Throughout the war, and particularly in recent weeks, the IDF said the terrorists were involved in attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians. Ayadi was also involved in planting explosive devices.
The IDF said all four terrorists posed an immediate threat to forces operating in Gaza and were eliminated in precise strikes.
🇮🇱 IDF TO ADVANCE PILOT EXAMINING WOMEN IN MANEUVERING ARMORED UNITS: The IDF held a senior-level planning discussion led by Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir regarding a pilot program to evaluate the integration of women into maneuvering armored corps units. Zamir emphasized the military's growing manpower requirements across multiple operational fronts and praised the professionalism, determination, and performance of women already serving in combat roles.
The pilot will be assessed based on two core criteria: participants must meet the same professional and operational standards required of armored corps soldiers without compromise, and the IDF must be able to establish a sustainable combat framework capable of full training and operational readiness for both routine security missions and wartime operations.
The Chief of Staff also directed that participant health and injury prevention receive special attention, noting that injury rates in previous pilots were unacceptable and that training methods must be optimized without lowering operational standards.
The IDF clarified that there are no plans to establish mixed-gender tank crews. If the pilot proves successful, women would serve in a separate dedicated armored framework of at least company size, with adjustments made in accordance with existing Joint Service regulations. The evaluation process is expected to advance ahead of the November 2026 draft cycle.
