🎯 GIVATI FORCES CROSS LITANI RIVER IN SOUTHERN LEBANON; IDF ELIMINATES OCTOBER 7 ABDUCTION TERRORIST IN GAZA

❌ Givati forces are operating in Zawtar al-Sharqiya and Zawtar al-Gharbiyah in southern Lebanon: In recent days, soldiers from the Givati Brigade combat team launched operations to establish IDF positions in the area as part of the divisional effort to remove direct threats to Israeli communities in the Galilee Panhandle and Metula.

🏞️ IDF forces crossed the Litani River and are targeting terrorist infrastructure in the area: Troops are locating and disposing of weapons while eliminating terrorists operating there.

With support from the Israeli Air Force, more than 100 strikes have been carried out, and approximately 20 terrorists have been eliminated. Hundreds of weapons were also discovered inside civilian homes in the area.

The IDF stated it will continue operating to remove threats to the State of Israel and its civilians.

🎯 The IDF eliminated terrorist Yousef Ayesh Awad Ramadan in the central Gaza Strip: Ramadan, a deputy commander in a Hamas Nukhba terrorist cell, infiltrated Israeli territory during the October 7 massacre and took part in the abduction of Hersh Goldberg-Polin, Eliya Cohen, Alon Ohel, and Or Levy from the bomb shelter at the Re’im Junction.

According to the IDF, throughout the war and in recent weeks, Ramadan advanced attack plans against IDF soldiers and Israeli civilians and posed an immediate threat to troops operating in the Gaza Strip.

Prior to the strike, the IDF stated that steps were taken to mitigate harm to civilians, including the use of precise munitions and aerial surveillance.

πŸ›‘οΈ The Home Front Command updated defensive guidelines for northern communities: The updated guidelines take effect from June 2, 2026 at 6:00 PM through June 7, 2026 at 8:00 PM.

The Confrontation Line area and the communities of Meron, Bar Yochai, Or HaGanuz, Safsufa, Yesud HaMa’ala, Kisra-Sumei, Beit Jann, and Sde Eliezer will move from limited activity to partial activity status.

Educational activities and workplaces may operate in locations where a standard protected space can be reached within the required protection time. Gatherings will be permitted for up to 100 people outdoors and 400 people indoors. Beaches will reopen.

The Upper Galilee and North Golan areas, along with Katzrin and Kidmat Zvi, will move to full activity status with no restrictions.

The Home Front Command stated that updated guidance will continue to be published through official IDF and Home Front Command platforms as needed.
