βš“ U.S. MAINTAINS IRAN BLOCKADE AS HORMUZ REOPENS AFTER MINE REMOVAL

🚒 BLOCKADE ENFORCEMENT: Guided-missile destroyer USS Rafael Peralta (DDG 115) directed a merchant vessel to return to an Iranian port while enforcing the U.S. naval blockade.

U.S. Central Command stated that 19 vessels have complied with instructions to turn around since the blockade began.

The same statement confirmed that zero vessels have evaded U.S. enforcement during the blockade period.

🚒 HORMUZ STATUS AND IRAN COMMITMENTS: President Donald Trump said Iran has pledged never again to block the Strait of Hormuz and is removing sea mines with U.S. assistance.

He stated the strait is now fully open as mine-clearing operations continue.

πŸ”± BLOCKADE AND NEGOTIATIONS: Trump said the U.S. naval blockade on Iran remains in place until negotiations are fully completed.

CNN reports the United States is considering lifting approximately $20 billion in frozen Iranian assets as part of ongoing talks.

βš“ NATO AND REGIONAL POSITIONING: Trump said NATO offered assistance but was told to stay away unless needed for oil-related activity.

He said the alliance was not required for the current situation.

⚠️ LEBANON DISENGAGEMENT CLAIM: Trump said the arrangement is not tied to Lebanon and that Israel is prohibited by the U.S. from conducting further strikes there.

He added the U.S. will separately handle the Hezbollah situation.

πŸ“ IRANIAN POSITION ON NAVIGATION: A senior Iranian official told Reuters that navigation through the Strait of Hormuz will be coordinated with Iran and the IRGC.

⚠️ U.S. POSITION ON DIPLOMACY AND PRESSURE: Senator Lindsey Graham said he supports President Donald Trump’s effort to end the conflict with Iran through diplomacy and negotiations.

He said Iran must not receive major financial relief while continuing destabilizing activity.

Graham said any relief must be tied to full compliance with U.S. demands.

These include no interference with the Strait of Hormuz, transfer of approximately 900 pounds of highly enriched uranium out of Iran, and a complete halt to uranium enrichment.

He called for a complete end to Iranian support for terrorist organizations across the region.

He also outlined requirements to limit Iran’s missile and drone programs and adopt a civilian nuclear framework similar to the UAE model.

Graham said the blockade should continue until all conditions are met.

He warned that partial agreements would strengthen the current Iranian regime and rejected a return to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.
