⚠️ US FORCES SHIFT TO THE RED SEA AS IRGC TIGHTENS CONTROL, HORMUZ CLOSES, AND STRIKE PREPAREDNESS RISES AGAINST IRAN

♟️ U.S. MILITARY POSTURE AND DEPLOYMENT: A massive U.S. Air Force airlift to the Middle East is underway today. The aircraft carrier Gerald Ford has moved from the Mediterranean into the Red Sea after crossing the Suez Canal, accompanied by two destroyers.

A senior U.S. official said the deployment is meant to strengthen preparedness for possible renewed attacks on Iran if the ceasefire is not extended.

🇮🇱 ISRAELI ASSESSMENTS AND STRIKE PREPARATIONS: Israeli officials told Yedioth Ahronoth that closure of the Strait of Hormuz increases the likelihood of renewed conflict.

An Israeli military official told Maariv that Israel and the U.S. are prepared for a sudden collapse of the ceasefire, with updated target banks and ongoing monitoring by Military Intelligence. Iranian energy facilities are among potential targets if fighting resumes.

⚓ IRGC CONTROL AND HORMUZ ESCALATION: The IRGC and its commander, Ahmad Vahidi, have taken full control of Iran’s military and negotiation process in recent days, according to the Institute for the Study of War.

During negotiations in Islamabad last week, multiple senior IRGC generals joined the Iranian negotiating team for updates on the diplomatic process, reflecting a deeper IRGC role in diplomacy than before.

The IRGC also launched drones with loudspeakers toward ships in the Gulf of Oman and beyond, declaring: “To the attention of all ships, following the failure of the US government to fulfill its commitments in the negotiations, Iran declares the complete closure of the Strait of Hormuz. No vessel of any kind or nationality is allowed to pass through the Strait of Hormuz until further notice.”

⚠️ U.S. RESPONSE AND MARITIME ENFORCEMENT: The Wall Street Journal reported that the U.S. is preparing to board Iranian sanctioned crude tankers and seize them in international waters in several areas around the world, expanding enforcement beyond the Middle East.

The same report said President Trump reportedly rejected plans to take control of Iran’s Kharg Island, citing the risk that American soldiers would become easy targets.

Russia has also reportedly warned Iran of a high likelihood of a U.S. ground attack.

🔹 IRANIAN POSITION AND THREATS: Iran’s Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref said the Islamic Republic seeks the right to manage the Strait of Hormuz, whether through negotiations or on the battlefield.

He also dismissed President Trump’s remarks as agitation, falsehoods, and delusions.

Iran’s Ghalibaf said: “We are fully prepared. If they make even the slightest mistake, we will respond with force.”

📉 NEGOTIATIONS AND DIPLOMATIC STATUS: A Pakistani diplomat said the second round of negotiations between Iran and the United States will not take place on Monday as previously expected.

Al Jazeera reported that Pakistan is losing optimism about another round of talks because Tehran refuses to compromise on uranium enrichment and broader nuclear issues.

An AP report said China may take Iran’s highly enriched uranium if requested by both the U.S. and Iran.

🇺🇸 U.S. AND POLITICAL STATEMENTS: President Trump said: “Whether people like Israel or not, they have proven to be a great ally of the USA. They are courageous, bold, loyal, and smart and, unlike others that have shown their true colors in a moment of conflict and stress, Israel fights hard, and knows how to win”.

Senator Lindsey Graham said recent events showed that Iran’s foreign minister is not in charge and that the IRGC is directing events on the ground.

He said the U.S. must ensure that the Strait of Hormuz remains under American and international control, that Iran’s highly enriched uranium is removed, that its missile and drone programs are limited, that support for terrorist organizations ends, and that Iran is never allowed a path to a nuclear weapon through uranium enrichment.
