🇺🇸 OPERATION STATUS: Admiral Brad Cooper, Commander of U.S. Central Command, said the campaign is now in its fourth week and remains “on plan or ahead of plan” in achieving military objectives aimed at eliminating Iran’s ability to project power outside its borders.
🔹 STRIKE TOTALS: Cooper said U.S. forces have struck more than 10,000 Iranian military targets, including what he described as the 10,000th target hit just hours earlier. He added that, together with Israeli operations, thousands of additional targets have also been struck.
🔹 NAVAL CAPABILITIES: According to Cooper, 92% of Iran’s largest naval vessels have been destroyed. He assessed that Iran has lost the ability to meaningfully project naval power and influence around the region and globally.
🔹 MISSILE AND DRONE CAPABILITIES: Cooper said Iran’s drone and missile launch rates are down by more than 90%. He stated that this has drastically reduced Iran’s ability to attack American forces and regional neighbors.
🔹 MILITARY PRODUCTION INFRASTRUCTURE: U.S. strikes have damaged or destroyed more than two-thirds of Iran’s missile, drone, and naval production facilities and shipyards, according to Cooper. He said this has also removed the regime’s ability to rebuild those capabilities at scale.
🔹 AIR OPERATIONS: Cooper said U.S. forces maintain air superiority over Iran and have now flown more than 10,000 combat flights. He said refueling tankers are extending operational reach while fighters and bombers continue precision strikes against primary objectives.
🔹 B-52 STRIKE ROLE: Cooper highlighted the B-52 bomber force as carrying out a high volume of strike missions into Iran. He said each mission is delivering up to 70,000 pounds of munitions.
