🗣️ Conflicting signals on Iran outreach for talks: A report in The Wall Street Journal said Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, has reached out to Washington through Omani intermediaries, requesting the renewal of nuclear talks.

🚀 Iran launches missiles and drones at Gulf targets: Iran launched a new wave of missiles and drones toward Doha, Kuwait, Dubai, and Bahrain. Arab reports said missiles and drones were launched toward Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates.
‼️ A joint statement from the United States, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan said: “We strongly condemn the reckless Iranian attacks across the region.”
The Wall Street Journal reported that Tehran’s calculation was that striking Gulf countries with influence on the Trump administration could force Washington and Israel to stop the fighting. The report said this calculation now appears to be collapsing, as Gulf states increasingly conclude they must confront Iran and respond to the attacks on their neighbors.
