⚠️ LEBANON CEASEFIRE TENSIONS AND IRAN-US AGREEMENT FRAMEWORK

💥 Southern Lebanon Strike: Lebanese media reported one person killed in an Israeli drone strike in southern Lebanon. Lebanon’s National News Agency said a vehicle was targeted in Kfar Tebnit, resulting in the death of the driver.

⚔️ Hezbollah and Withdrawal Discussions: A Hezbollah official told Reuters the group has not carried out any operations since the Iran-US agreement was announced. The official added: "Hezbollah's position on the ceasefire depends on Israel adhering to it."

Hezbollah MP Hussein Hajj Hassan confirmed that Nabih Berri and Hezbollah were informed that the Israeli withdrawal is structured within the framework of the agreement, with details expected to be discussed soon, according to Al-Jadeed TV.

Hajj Hassan stated: "if the Israeli army does not withdraw, we will talk then," while also declaring that no lines are recognized. He advised displaced residents to wait for a joint Hezbollah-Amal statement before carrying out a safe return.

🔸 Iran on Lebanon and Regional Commitments: Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Baqaei stated: "The end of the war in Lebanon is an inseparable part of the comprehensive ceasefire understanding."

He added: "At the same time as the final steps of the agreement, the Zionist regime carried out a terrorist attack on a residential area in Lebanon, martyring one of Hezbollah's senior commanders and a number of citizens...and this crime ultimately became an opportunity for greater cohesion and strengthening of this front."

Baqaei further stated: "Iran, while proving its seriousness, closely monitors future developments and will use all its strategic tools to ensure the implementation of the commitments of the opposing parties."

He added that the agreement’s language regarding "ending the war on all fronts including Lebanon" and respecting Lebanese sovereignty defines the framework of the international commitment.

⚓ Geneva Diplomacy and Strait of Hormuz: Donald Trump arrived in Geneva ahead of the Group of 7 summit in Évian-les-Bains, France, where the newly brokered US-Iran agreement is expected to dominate discussions, according to CNN.

President Trump is scheduled to meet later today with French President Emmanuel Macron regarding the broader geopolitical framework.

President Trump stated: "Ships are starting to move, many loaded up with oil, out of the Strait of Hormuz. They are going along the southern 'highway', which is totally safe, secure, and pristine. There are other areas of travel, also".

At the same time, an IRIB correspondent reported: "It has been over 96 hours since the IRGC Navy has issued any passage permits. Until further notice, the Strait of Hormuz is closed to all vessels at the entry and exit passage".
