⚠️ ISRAEL–LEBANON CEASEFIRE HOLDS AFTER HEZBOLLAH ROCKET BARRAGES AND IDF STRIKES

🚀 ROCKET FIRE BEFORE CEASEFIRE: Minutes before the ceasefire took effect, Hezbollah launched five rockets at the Galilee Panhandle.

Within one hour, Israeli media reports indicate 25 missiles and 3 drones were launched from Lebanon toward northern Israel.

According to the IDF, most rockets were intercepted and one struck an open area.

🚑 INJURIES IN NORTHERN ISRAEL: Magen David Adom reports three people were injured in the barrages.

In Karmiel, a 25-year-old motorcyclist and a 17-year-old girl were seriously wounded by shrapnel, while in Nahariya a man in his 40s was moderately injured.

❌ IDF STRIKES AND ALERT STATUS: The IDF struck launchers used in the attacks, including those that fired toward Israel overnight.

In the past 24 hours, more than 380 Hezbollah targets were hit, including launchers, headquarters, and operatives, in support of ground forces in southern Lebanon.

The IDF remains on high alert and will act according to directives from the political echelon.

🎯 NEW ARTILLERY SYSTEM DEPLOYED: The IDF Artillery Corps conducted its first operational use of the Ro'em (SIGMA 155) self-propelled howitzer this week.

The 282nd Artillery Regiment used the system to strike Hezbollah rocket and anti-tank launch sites, with the military stating the operation achieved results.

The Ro'em will gradually replace older M109 systems and provides improved firing rate, range, and mobility.
