‼️ IDF ORDERED TO STRIKE HEZBOLLAH TARGETS IN BEIRUT: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz say they instructed the IDF to strike Hezbollah targets in Beirut’s Dahiyeh district following repeated ceasefire violations and attacks on Israeli cities and civilians.
In a joint statement, they said: “Following the repeated violations of the ceasefire in Lebanon by the Hezbollah terror organization and the attacks against our cities and citizens, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz instructed the IDF to strike terror targets in the Dahiyeh quarter of Beirut.”
🕯️ HEZBOLLAH DRONE ATTACK KILLS IDF SOLDIER: The IDF says Staff Sgt. Adam Tzarfati, 20, of the Commando Brigade’s Maglan Unit, from Rosh Haayin, was killed overnight in southern Lebanon.
May his family be comforted among the mourners of Zion. And may HaShem avenge his blood.
At around 1 a.m., an explosive-laden first-person-view drone launched by Hezbollah struck a military position in Yohmor, near the Beaufort Castle, where Israeli troops were operating.
One soldier was severely wounded in the attack, while two additional soldiers were lightly injured. The wounded soldiers were airlifted to a hospital for treatment, and their families were notified.
🚀 Rocket Fire Across Northern Israel: Hezbollah launched several rockets from Lebanon toward northern Israel overnight and this morning.
Three rockets were launched toward the Kiryat Shmona area. The Israeli Air Force intercepted two, and the result of an additional interception attempt remains under review.
Two more rockets were launched toward Tiberias. One struck an open area, while the second fell inside Lebanon near an area where IDF troops are operating.
Additional sirens sounded at 08:15 in several areas in northern Israel after two more projectiles were launched from Lebanon. The Israeli Air Force intercepted both.
One additional rocket launched at the Upper Galilee this morning was also intercepted.
💥 Hezbollah Launcher Dismantled: Within minutes, the IDF dismantled the launcher from which Hezbollah fired rockets toward Tiberias overnight.
The military released footage showing the Israeli Air Force strike on the launcher.
🚁 Drone Infiltration Alerts Along The Northern Border: Hostile aircraft infiltration alerts were activated overnight and this morning in the areas of Kiryat Shmona, Margaliot, Manara, Adamit, Yuval, and Rosh Hanikra.
The Israeli Air Force intercepted a suspicious aerial target near Margaliot, in an area where IDF soldiers are operating in southern Lebanon.
An interceptor missile was also launched toward an apparent Hezbollah drone over the Kiryat Shmona area. The results remain under review.
Following additional alerts at 06:39, 09:06, and 09:22, the military identified several suspicious aerial targets launched from Lebanon. The incidents concluded without reported injuries.
One hostile aircraft alert near Rosh Hanikra was later determined to be a false identification.
🛡️ Home Front Command Directive: Following launches from Lebanon toward several areas in northern Israel, the Home Front Command instructed residents to enter protected spaces when alerts are activated.
No injuries were reported.
