📈 ISRAEL CPI FALLS, CYBERARK $25B SALE TO PALO ALTO, INDIA APPROVES ~$8.7B ISRAELI ARMS DEAL; ISRAEL RANKED #2 HAPPIEST FOR UNDER-30S

📉 Inflation declines to four-year low: The Consumer Price Index fell by 0.3%, bringing annual inflation to 1.8%.

This marks the lowest inflation level in four years.

🤝 CyberArk sold in $25B deal with Palo Alto Networks: U.S. cybersecurity firm Palo Alto Networks has agreed to acquire Israeli identity-security company CyberArk for $25 billion. The company plans to list in Tel Aviv under the ticker CYBR.

This is the second-largest acquisition in Israel’s tech sector, occurring months after the largest.

☑️ India approves major Israeli arms purchase: India has reportedly approved approximately $8.7 billion in defense purchases from Israel.

The package includes SPICE 1000 guided bombs (about 1,000 units), Rampage air-to-surface missiles, Air LORA air-launched ballistic missiles, the Ice Breaker missile system, and additional drones, radars, and surveillance systems.

The deal positions Israel as one of India’s top defense suppliers, second only to France.

🎭 Israel ranks #2 happiest for under-30 population: Israel is ranked the second-happiest country in the world for people under age 30.

🇺🇸 US Ambassador Huckabee frames Iran as an ideological threat: US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee described Iran as a long-standing ideological threat to Israel, the US, and the wider international order, citing Tehran’s calls since 1979 for the destruction of both countries and pointing to Iranian and Hezbollah networks in regions such as South America.

On renewed US-Iran talks in Geneva, Huckabee expressed support for diplomacy but uncertainty that negotiations can eliminate Iran’s nuclear, missile, and terror-financing capabilities.

He said he hopes talks succeed, but stated that if they fail the US may need to address the threat through other means, including potential military action.

He emphasized the difference between Washington’s geographic distance and Israel’s proximity to Iran, arguing Israeli-based officials confront the threat more directly.

On Gaza’s next phase, Huckabee argued Hamas cannot remain in power after October 7, comparing its removal to the post-World War II dismantling of Nazism in Germany.

Huckabee also addressed his planned interview with Tucker Carlson, explaining the decision as an effort to challenge critical narratives about Israel. He described himself as a Christian Zionist and said engagement with critics is necessary because “silence is consent” in the information arena.

On a personal note, Huckabee said Israel is the only place outside the US where he feels at home, describing his return to Israel after visiting family in America as “going home.”
