🛡️ ISRAEL COMPLETES SUCCESSFUL DAVID’S SLING INTERCEPTION TESTS AS IRAN EXECUTION CLAIMS AND REGIONAL DIPLOMATIC WARNINGS EMERGE

🚀 David’s Sling Completes Advanced Operational Testing: Israel’s Ministry of Defense announced that the David’s Sling air defense system successfully completed a series of complex operational tests led by the Homa Administration within the Directorate of Defense Research and Development, together with the U.S. Missile Defense Agency and Rafael Advanced Defense Systems.

The tests examined interception capabilities against a wide range of aerial threats, including rockets, ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, aircraft, and unmanned aerial vehicles. Scenarios were developed based on operational lessons learned during the war and simulated both current and emerging threat environments.

Officials said the successful results represent a significant technological and operational upgrade that enhances interception performance. David’s Sling serves as a central layer in Israel’s multi-layered air defense network alongside the Arrow system, Iron Dome, and the recently delivered Or Eitan laser interception system.

The system is led by the Ministry of Defense, with Rafael as the primary developer, Israel Aerospace Industries’ Elta Division responsible for the MMR radar, and Elbit Systems developing the command-and-control infrastructure. Defense officials said upgrades implemented during the war included real-time engineering adjustments that improved interception capabilities.

The latest testing series focused on preparing the system to handle multiple and diverse threats simultaneously, supporting readiness for high-intensity, multi-front attack scenarios. Officials said continued cooperation with the U.S. Missile Defense Agency supports interoperability between missile defense technologies and highlights ongoing U.S.–Israel defense integration. They also noted that the system is being continuously upgraded as Israel expands hybrid defense capabilities combining interceptor missiles and emerging laser-based systems.

🏗️ Conflicting Claims Over Iran Executions Report: Israel Hayom reported that Iran secretly executed thousands of people despite previously assuring the United States it would not do so, framing the claim as evidence Tehran “deceived” President Trump during diplomatic engagement on nuclear talks and protest-related concerns.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi denied the report in a post on X, calling the outlet politically motivated. He said no executions have occurred, no court process has been concluded, and more than 2,000 prisoners have been pardoned.

🇹🇷 Turkey Warns Nuclear Negotiations Could Trigger Regional War: Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan told the Financial Times: “If the U.S. insists on addressing all the issues simultaneously, I am afraid even the nuclear file will not move forward. The result could be another war in the region".

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan: "The US and Iran are showing flexibility in talks, it is important that the US shows willingness to allow Iran to enrich uranium within clear limits. An attempt to include Iran's ballistic missiles in the talks will bring nothing but another war".

🛢️ Venezuela Denies Oil Shipment To Israel: A report claimed Venezuela exported a shipment of crude oil to Israel for the first time in years.

Venezuelan Communication and Information Minister Miguel Pérez Pirela denied the Bloomberg report, calling it "fake".
