šŸŽÆ IRANIAN BALLISTIC MISSILE STRIKES HAIFA REFINERY AS HEZBOLLAH LAUNCHES ROCKET, DRONE, AND MISSILE ATTACKS AND IDF STRIKES TERROR CELLS IN LEBANON

šŸ”“ IRANIAN MISSILE STRIKE AND HEZBOLLAH FIRE: An Iranian ballistic missile struck Israel’s Haifa oil refinery. The missile is assessed to have carried a cluster bomb warhead.

Sirens sounded in the Galilee and Haifa Bay area during a Hezbollah rocket attack from Lebanon. Additional sirens were activated in Netanya amid a Hezbollah missile attack from Lebanon.

Medics and rescue forces are responding to reports of impacts in northern Israel following the Iranian ballistic missile attack and concurrent Hezbollah fire from Lebanon. There are no immediate reports of injuries.

āš ļø IDF CASUALTIES IN SOUTHERN LEBANON: Three IDF soldiers were seriously wounded and several others moderately injured in Hezbollah attacks and other incidents in southern Lebanon.

In one incident, two soldiers were seriously injured by an anti-tank guided missile. In a separate incident, a Hezbollah drone struck near Israeli forces, seriously injuring one soldier and moderately wounding two others.

An additional soldier was moderately injured in an operational accident. All of the wounded were evacuated to hospitals for treatment, and their families have been notified.

šŸ’„ IDF STRIKES HEZBOLLAH INFRASTRUCTURE AND OPERATIVES: The IDF says it carried out airstrikes on Hezbollah infrastructure in Beirut. It also struck a Hezbollah cell in southern Lebanon that was operating near an ambulance.

According to the IDF, the operatives were dressed as paramedics and had systematically used ambulances to transfer weapons from northern to southern Lebanon for use in attacks against IDF troops and the State of Israel.

Lebanon’s health minister reported that nine medics were killed in the strikes, including four from Hezbollah’s Islamic Health Committee and five from the Amal movement’s Risala Scouts.

šŸŽÆ OPERATIVES ELIMINATED UNDER JOURNALIST AND PARAMEDIC COVER: On Saturday, the IDF struck and eliminated Ali Hassan Shaib, a terrorist in Hezbollah’s Radwan Force intelligence unit. The IDF says Shaib aided Hezbollah for years while working as a journalist and officially joined Hezbollah’s military wing in 2020.

In the same strike, Mohammad Fatouni, an additional terrorist in Hezbollah’s military wing who also operated under the guise of a journalist, was eliminated.

The IDF says it is aware of reports that an additional female journalist who was with the terrorists was killed in the strike. It states that its strikes are directed at terrorists, not journalists, and that it is operating to mitigate harm to civilians as much as possible.

Following the strike, Haj Khalil and Mohsen Ali Alshami, whom the IDF identifies as additional Hezbollah terrorists operating under the guise of paramedics, approached the area and were hit.

ā—ļø IDF SAYS HEZBOLLAH EXPLOITED MEDICAL INFRASTRUCTURE: The IDF says Hezbollah military operatives exploited paramedic cover alongside an ambulance in southern Lebanon. It says the operatives used ambulances and medical infrastructure to conceal military activity and move weapons.

According to the IDF, dozens of rockets were launched over the past month toward Israel and IDF soldiers from areas in which these operatives were active.

The IDF says the use of ambulances and medical teams to conceal terrorist activity is a severe violation of international law. Under international law, medical teams are afforded special protection only as long as they are not engaged in hostile acts outside their humanitarian duties.
