He added, “Time is passing to the detriment of the Americans, and it is in their interest not to sink deeper into the swamp they have fallen into through their foolishness. The best path is surrender and giving concessions. You must get used to the new regional order.”

While avoiding formal “red line” terminology, Rubio repeatedly emphasized that the U.S. position should already be clear to Tehran.
He said any direct attack on American personnel or military assets would bring immediate military retaliation.
