⚠️ IRAN TARGETS U.S. BASES IN KUWAIT AND BAHRAIN AS GULF STATES ESCALATE SECURITY MEASURES AFTER DEADLY AIRPORT STRIKE

⚠️ Reports said Iran targeted U.S. bases in Kuwait and Bahrain in retaliation for American strikes on an IRGC communications tower on Qeshm Island.

According to CENTCOM, U.S. forces struck an Iranian military ground control station on Qeshm Island in response to earlier Iranian attacks. No American casualties were reported.

💥 Kuwait’s Civil Aviation Authority declared a state of emergency at Kuwait International Airport following Iranian drone and missile strikes. Flight operations were suspended, incoming flights were diverted, and authorities reported casualties and significant damage.

An Iranian drone strike on Terminal 1 killed one Indian national and wounded 63 others. The strike caused severe structural damage to the recently reopened terminal.

🇮🇳 India’s Ministry of External Affairs condemned the attack and called on all parties to stop targeting civilian infrastructure. The victim was the 10th Indian national killed since the Iran war began.

⚠️ Kuwait summoned the Iranian chargé d'affaires, lodged a formal protest, reduced the size of Iran’s diplomatic mission, declared two Iranian diplomats persona non grata, and ordered them to leave the country within 24 hours.

🗣️ The IRGC denied targeting the airport terminal, stating: "Our investigation into the strike on Kuwait International Airport's passenger terminal shows that the IRGC Aerospace Force did not target the facility. The damage was caused by a malfunctioning U.S. Patriot missile, which struck the terminal after failing to intercept Iranian missiles".

📹 Kuwait’s Civil Aviation Authority later released footage showing the Iranian drone strike on Terminal 1, contradicting Iran’s claim that the damage was caused by a failed U.S. interceptor missile.

🗣️ An Iranian military source responded to the footage through Tasnim News Agency: "These images are a fabricated scene created by the enemy. IRGC Aerospace Force drones targeting U.S. facilities in Kuwait were launched at night, and the impacts also occurred in darkness. However, the alleged footage from Kuwait Airport was clearly filmed during daylight. In addition, the distance between the intended targets and Kuwait International Airport is more than 40 kilometers, further indicating that the strike on the airport was unrelated to Iranian drones".

🇺🇸 The Wall Street Journal reported that President Trump told aides he would not resume full-scale war with Iran unless American troops are killed.

⚠️ Bahrain banned its citizens from traveling to Iran and Iraq due to what authorities described as “ongoing security tensions.” Bahraini authorities also announced the arrest of 15 individuals accused of operating as field operatives for the IRGC.
