⚠️ IDF repeats evacuation warning for southern Lebanon: The IDF again warned civilians in southern Lebanon to evacuate north of the Zahrani River as operations continue in the area. The warning was first issued on Thursday and remains in effect amid ongoing airstrikes.
“Hezbollah’s terror activities are forcing the IDF to act forcefully against it in that area, and it does not intend to harm you,” said IDF spokesman Col. Avichay Adraee.
“Airstrikes are ongoing, as the IDF is operating with great force in the area. Therefore, for your safety, we again urge you to evacuate your homes immediately and move at once to north of the Zahrani River,” he said.
“Any movement southward may put your lives at risk,” Adraee added.
The IDF has pushed troops deeper into southern Lebanon in recent days to push the Hezbollah threat away from the border. The military has also said Hezbollah is launching most of its attacks from deeper within southern Lebanon, not from areas close to the border.
