⚠️ Trump: “Regime change” underway in Iran: Speaking on a call with CNBC’s Joe Kernen, President Trump said discussions with Iranian authorities have been very intense and expressed hope that a substantive outcome can be achieved. He also stated that what is unfolding in Iran can be described as a regime change.
❗️ Israeli official warns U.S. signals may embolden Iran: An Israeli official said Trump’s previous statement that there would be no further strikes on gas facilities encouraged the Iranians, who interpreted it as a sign of weakness. The official added it is to be hoped that the cancellation of the current ultimatum will not be viewed similarly, warning that such a perception would be bad news.
🎯 IDF STRIKE ELIMINATES ARMED HAMAS CELL IN CENTRAL GAZA: The IDF confirms it carried out an airstrike yesterday in the central Gaza Strip targeting a group of armed Hamas operatives traveling in a vehicle.
According to the military, troops identified the cell moving in an SUV/pick-up truck and assessed it as an immediate threat to Israeli forces operating in the area. The vehicle was subsequently struck, and the operatives were eliminated to remove the threat.
Gazan media reported that three Hamas police officers were killed in the strike.
⚠️ SECURITY FORCES RESPOND TO VIOLENCE, ARSON, AND ATTACKS IN JUDEA AND SAMARIA: Throughout the evening, IDF soldiers, Israel Border Police, and Israel Police forces were dispatched following reports of violent assault, arson, and public disturbances carried out by Israeli civilians in several locations across Judea and Samaria.
During searches near Deir al-Hatab, forces inspected a suspected vehicle and located weapons, which were confiscated. Five Israeli civilians were apprehended by the Israel Border Patrol and transferred to Israel Police for further questioning.
In a separate incident in the Yitzhar area, a number of Israeli civilians attacked Israeli security forces operating to restore order. During the incident, an Israel Border Police soldier was injured and a security forces vehicle was damaged.
A number of Palestinian civilians were also injured in the incidents and evacuated for medical treatment.
Security forces have been deployed since the afternoon along roads and at friction points to maintain order and security, while operating with zero tolerance toward violent extremists who disrupt public order. The IDF and Israel Police said they view such violence with severity and strongly condemn any form of violence that undermines security in the region.
