💥 HEZBOLLAH COMMAND TUNNEL FOUND IN CIVILIAN STORE: IDF forces uncovered a 25-meter-deep underground command center belonging to Hezbollah inside a clothing store in Al-Khiyam, southern Lebanon. The tunnel contained weapons and rooms used by Hezbollah operatives to manage terror activity.
The IDF said Hezbollah embedded this infrastructure inside a civilian area, placing Lebanese residents at risk. It described the construction of underground military infrastructure in civilian areas as a deliberate exploitation of Lebanese civilians for terrorist objectives.
🎯 TWO ARMED TERRORISTS ELIMINATED IN AAINATA: Earlier today, in the Aainata area of southern Lebanon, IDF soldiers identified two armed terrorists approaching their position and posing an immediate threat. The soldiers eliminated them in order to remove the threat.
🇱🇧🇮🇱 ISRAEL-LEBANON TALKS SET FOR TONIGHT IN WASHINGTON: Israel confirmed that negotiations with Lebanon will take place tonight at the White House at 11:00 PM Israel time. The talks are scheduled between the Israeli and Lebanese ambassadors, with President Trump repeatedly attending the meeting, and he may join the talks today.
🔸 LEBANON PRESENTED ITS DIPLOMATIC TRACK: Lebanese President Joseph Aoun said ongoing contacts with U.S. leadership, including President Trump and Marco Rubio, are focused on halting escalation with Israel, enforcing the ceasefire, and opening a broader negotiation track. He said the discussions address ending the state of war, Israeli withdrawal from disputed areas, prisoner returns, deployment of the Lebanese army to international borders, and disputes along the Blue Line.
He said reports claiming direct contact with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu were incorrect. He also said some media coverage of the file included inaccurate information.
🔸 LEBANON IS SEEKING BROADER CEASEFIRE TERMS: A meeting in Washington is scheduled to discuss extending the ceasefire, with Lebanon pushing to include expanded protections covering homes, religious sites, journalists, medical personnel, and schools. Lebanon’s ambassador to the United States has been tasked with advancing these demands during the talks.
He said Lebanon has returned to the forefront of American diplomatic attention, including direct involvement by the Secretary of State in a dual national security role. He said this could open a path to economic recovery and reconstruction if negotiations advance, and expressed interest in visiting Washington for direct talks with President Trump.
Aoun said the Lebanese government is trying to address ceasefire violations through diplomatic channels while dealing with ongoing humanitarian strain. He thanked international partners for continued aid to displaced civilians and said public exhaustion from repeated conflict, including among families of security personnel killed in recent fighting, is increasing pressure to pursue an end to the war.
🔸 BERRI TIED ANY PEACE MOVE TO SAUDI-ISRAELI NORMALIZATION: Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri told Saudi envoy Yazid bin Farhan in Beirut that Lebanon will not proceed with peace with Israel before Saudi-Israeli normalization, according to Lebanon’s Al-Jadeed News.
