💥 IDF STRIKES IRGC MILITARY INFRASTRUCTURE IN TEHRAN: The IDF revealed that an additional target struck in central Tehran was the IRGC’s main military university, located within the compound of Imam Hossein University.
The site serves as the IRGC’s primary military academic institution and also functions as an emergency asset for the regime’s military bodies, where advanced weapons research and development were conducted under civilian cover.
The university is commanded by Mohammad Reza Hassani Shahnegari, a senior IRGC officer with a rank equivalent to Brigadier General. He oversees the university’s activities, leads officer training, and is responsible for force buildup.
Due to the university’s direct affiliation with the IRGC and its role in advancing terrorist activity, several countries have imposed sanctions on the institution and its senior officials.
During the operation, the IDF struck military infrastructure within the university multiple times in order to inflict significant damage to the regime’s weapons production and development capabilities.
Destroyed infrastructure included underground wind tunnels used for ballistic missile testing and development, the chemistry center used for chemical weapons research and development, and the technology and engineering center of the mechanics and development group, a central complex used for ballistic missile and additional weapons development.
