The IDF says the continued strikes improve Israeli Air Force freedom of action and prevent numerous launches and missiles that posed a threat to Israel’s citizens and the broader Middle East.

🎯 IDF ELIMINATES IRANIAN DEFENSE ESTABLISHMENT LEADERSHIP IN OPENING STRIKE: Earlier today, hundreds of Israeli Air Force fighter jets, directed by precise IDF intelligence, struck hundreds of Iranian military targets across Iran.

The operation began with a preemptive strike after the IDF identified several locations throughout Tehran where senior officials of the Iranian defense establishment had gathered.

It can now be confirmed that the following senior officials were eliminated by the IDF during the opening strike:

• Ali Shamkhani, Secretary of the Iranian Security Council and senior security advisor to Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei

• Mohammad Pakpour, Commander of the IRGC since Operation “Rising Lion” and a leader of the “destruction of Israel” plan

• Saleh Asadi, Head of the Intelligence Directorate of the Khatam al-Anbiya emergency command and a senior intelligence officer of Iran’s supreme command

• Mohammad Shirazi, Head of the Military Bureau of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei since 1989

• Aziz Nasirzadeh, Iran’s Defense Minister and former Air Force commander

• Hossein Jabal Amelian, Chairman of the SPND Organization advancing projects related to nuclear, biological, and chemical weapons

• Reza Mozaffari-Nia, former Chairman of the SPND Organization involved in advancing nuclear weapon production efforts

The IDF says the Israeli Air Force continues to strike across Iran based on precise intelligence and in cooperation with the U.S. military to protect Israel and the regional coalition.

The IDF says it will continue to operate against all those who attempt to harm Israel’s security.

🔴 FATALITY CONFIRMED FROM IRANIAN BALLISTIC MISSILE IMPACT IN TEL AVIV; MULTIPLE INJURED: First responders say the woman in her 40s who was critically wounded in the ballistic missile impact has died.

Magen David Adom says it is taking to hospitals a man in his 40s in serious condition, a man in his 30s in moderate condition, a woman in her 90s in moderate condition, and 17 others who are lightly hurt.
