❌ Senior Jamaa Islamiya Terrorist Captured in Mount Dov Raid: Following intelligence gathered in recent weeks, IDF soldiers conducted an overnight targeted raid on a structure in the Har Dov (Mount Dov) area and apprehended a senior terrorist from the Jamaa Islamiya terrorist organization. The terrorist was transferred into Israeli territory for further interrogation, and weapons were located in the same structure.

Al-Jama’a al-Islamiyya identified the captured operative as Atwi Atwi and said he was detained in the town of Habbariyeh, around five kilometers north of Israel’s border. The group said it holds Israel "responsible for any harm that may befall him."
Al-Jama’a al-Islamiyya is a Sunni faction within the broader Muslim Brotherhood political network. Its armed wing, the al-Fajr Forces, established in the 1980s, repeatedly targeted Israel from Lebanon during the 2023–2024 war, often working in conjunction with Hezbollah.
