💥 IDF strikes Hezbollah command centers in Beirut: Following Hezbollah rocket fire toward northern Israel earlier today, the IDF carried out precise strikes against Hezbollah command centers in the Dahieh area of Beirut’s southern suburbs.
The IDF said Hezbollah terrorists were operating from the targeted sites and using them to advance attacks against Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers operating in southern Lebanon.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz said the strikes were carried out in response to Hezbollah’s rocket attacks on northern Israel.
💥 Lebanese media reports casualties and heavy damage: Images published by Lebanese media showed extensive damage to several apartment buildings in Beirut’s southern suburbs.
Lebanon’s National News Agency reported that two people were killed and at least 11 wounded. According to the report, two apartments in the Hezbollah stronghold were targeted.
⚠️ Home Front Command guidelines remain unchanged:Following a situational assessment, the IDF Home Front Command said there are no changes to civilian defensive guidelines.
The announcement came after Iran threatened to respond to Israel’s strikes on Hezbollah targets in Beirut.
The existing Home Front Command guidelines remain in effect until Monday, June 8, 2026, at 20:00.
