📞 IDF RELEASES CALL WITH DAHIEH RESIDENT CRITICIZING HEZBOLLAH: The IDF published a recording of a phone call between a Unit 504 intelligence officer and a resident of Dahieh in Beirut as part of evacuation warnings issued before strikes in areas where Hezbollah operates.
During the conversation, the resident told the officer: “Get rid of Hezbollah already - I’m with you, they forced us out of our homes.”
The resident said Hezbollah is forcing civilians from their homes and threatening them, and emphasized that the Lebanese people stand with the Lebanese state and not with the terrorist organization.
The IDF said Hezbollah has deployed throughout Dahieh and operates weapons production and development sites there, including facilities used to improve missile precision under Iranian guidance.
According to the military, these efforts are part of a key Hezbollah program to increase missile accuracy.
The IDF added that Hezbollah has spent decades building weapons stockpiles that include advanced Iranian precision missiles and that some of these weapons are produced and stored inside civilian infrastructure, including residences across Lebanon.
Over the past two years, the IDF has struck similar targets, including weapons storage facilities, manufacturing sites, and missiles and rockets belonging to Hezbollah.
The military said this is further evidence of Hezbollah’s cynical exploitation of the civilian population in Lebanon.
🕯️ IDF SOLDIER FALLS IN COMBAT IN SOUTHERN LEBANON: The name of a fallen IDF soldier whose family has been notified has been cleared for publication. Staff Sergeant Or Demry, 20, from Liman, a soldier in the Combat Engineering Corps in the 91st Division, fell during combat in southern Lebanon.
🔴 FATAL MOTORCYCLE INCIDENT DURING SIREN ALERT: A man in northern Israel was killed after losing control of his motorcycle during an alarm. The incident occurred while sirens were active in the area.
🚨 SIRENS REPORTED AT BRITISH BASE IN CYPRUS: Sirens were activated at a British base in Cyprus. There were also reports of explosions in the area.
