🇮🇱 GOLANI RECON COMPLETES 50 DAYS IN BEAUFORT AREA: The IDF says Golani Reconnaissance Unit soldiers are completing nearly 50 days of operations in Lebanon’s Beaufort area, where they helped establish operational control over an area that served as a major Hezbollah stronghold. Forces destroyed more than 300 terrorist infrastructure sites and located and destroyed weapons and storage facilities used by Hezbollah. The IDF said the operations disrupted Hezbollah capabilities and consolidated operational control in the area. The soldiers are now departing for a unit refresher period while maintaining readiness for future missions.
🛰️ FOREIGN MISSION CONSIDERED TO VERIFY HEZBOLLAH DISARMAMENT: Reuters reports that the UK, Italy, Switzerland and Indonesia are being considered for a foreign mission to verify Hezbollah’s disarmament in southern Lebanon. The plan could involve inspecting villages and private homes, but the mission’s mandate and freedom of movement remain unresolved.
📍 Defense Minister Israel Katz reiterated his commitment regarding Israel’s security zones: “We will not withdraw from the security zones—not in Lebanon, not in Syria, and not in Gaza. We will continue to destroy all the terrorist infrastructure built here with Iranian funding.”
🎯 HAMAS COMMANDER STRUCK IN NORTHERN GAZA: The IDF says it carried out an aerial strike against a Hamas commander in the northern Gaza Strip who planned to execute terror attacks against IDF troops operating in Gaza. The military said the strike was carried out to remove the threat to its forces. Media reports said one person was killed and others injured in an Israeli strike targeting a vehicle in Beit Lahiya.
🛰️ IDF RESPONDS TO REPORTED HAMAS MILITARY DRILL: The military says it received information indicating Hamas was carrying out a military drill in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday night, prompting improved intelligence-gathering and attack capabilities. However, the IDF said no terror operatives were actually identified at any stage.
The army said: “there is no change to the rules of engagement, which require every IDF soldier to neutralize any immediate threat, wherever it may be.” It added: “There is also no change in the deployment of forces in the sector or in control of the Yellow Line.”
🔸 The CEO of the Peace Council said: “In recent days, a mechanism for monitoring violations in Gaza has begun operating. Every violation will be addressed.”
🛡️ IDF REINFORCES QUSRA SECTOR: IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir held an additional situational assessment on the ongoing events in the Qusra area with senior Central Command and Operations Directorate officials. He ordered continued efforts to restore order, strengthen operational control and prevent further serious incidents.
An additional infantry battalion, currently undergoing training and refreshment, will deploy to the sector, with further forces placed on standby if required. The IDF is operating jointly with the Israel Police and Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) to restore order, maintain security and bring those responsible for the disturbances to justice.
Zamir also ordered all troops operating in Judea and Samaria to be briefed on rules governing conduct and the use of force during such incidents, while continuing counterterrorism operations and strengthening the defense of Israeli communities.
⚓ TRUMP: U.S. HAS “TOTAL CONTROL” OVER STRAIT OF HORMUZ: President Trump said the U.S. has “total control” over the Strait of Hormuz, adding: “I THINK WE WILL KEEP IT!” He described the U.S. naval blockade as a “WALL OF STEEL” and said Iran can do nothing to break it.
Trump said Iran has no Navy or Air Force, claimed the IRGC is decimated and fleeing, remaining troops are unpaid, and the country’s leadership is uncertain. He further claimed Iran is financially crippled with 300% inflation, concluding that Tehran is “all talk and no action” and is “the Bully of the Middle East No Longer.”
