⚠️ IDF EXPANDS STRIKES ACROSS LEBANON AS HEZBOLLAH-ALIGNED REPORT CLAIMS IRAN PREPARED FOR POSSIBLE REGIONAL ESCALATION

🛸 IDF CONTINUES OPERATIONS AGAINST HEZBOLLAH INFRASTRUCTURE: IDF Spokesperson BG Effie Defrin said the military is continuing extensive efforts to develop operational solutions against Hezbollah drone threats, with the issue being personally overseen by Chief of Staff LTG Eyal Zamir.

Defrin said progress has already been made and additional solutions are being pursued.

The IDF said it will continue striking Hezbollah infrastructure throughout Lebanon, from Dahieh to Tyre, wherever threats to Israeli civilians or IDF troops are identified.

The IDF also announced that the 146th Division completed three months of operations in southern Lebanon’s forward defense zone. During the operations, forces eliminated more than 550 terrorists and dismantled more than 2,700 Hezbollah infrastructure sites.

According to the IDF, more than 200 weapons storage facilities were destroyed with Israeli Air Force assistance, and dozens of underground routes were dismantled together with the Yahalom Unit.

⚠️ HEZBOLLAH-ALIGNED REPORT CLAIMS IRAN FEARED BROADER CONFLICT: Hezbollah-affiliated Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar reported that recent Israeli statements regarding possible strikes in Beirut’s Dahieh district were viewed by Iran as a potential prelude to wider regional escalation and an Israeli-American effort to impose a new reality before any agreement with Washington.

According to the report, Iran responded by signaling it may halt negotiations with the United States and by mobilizing missile units inside Iranian territory, movements reportedly detected by both Israel and the U.S.

The report further claims Iran warned mediators it was considering a preemptive strike, believing the escalation in Lebanon could be a preparatory phase for a future attack on Iran itself.

At the same time, Hezbollah reportedly intensified rocket fire toward northern Israel and placed its forces on alert for a possible new phase of ground fighting.

According to Al-Akhbar, Lebanese President Joseph Aoun proposed a formula under which Hezbollah would halt launches toward Israel in exchange for Israel refraining from large-scale operations, including strikes in Dahieh. Hezbollah reportedly rejected the proposal.

The report adds that Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri later conveyed messages indicating Hezbollah would accept a ceasefire if Israel also committed to one.

Al-Akhbar further claims Iran sent additional warnings through regional mediators, including signals suggesting possible direct intervention, which allegedly led Washington to pressure Israel against striking Dahieh.

The report described the current situation as a “temporary freeze,” adding that Hezbollah does not intend to stop attacks against the IDF unless Israel formally commits to a ceasefire and withdrawal framework viewed by Hezbollah as realistic and enforceable.

🎯 IDF ELIMINATES ISLAMIC JIHAD ROCKET CELL COMMANDER IN GAZA: The IDF announced that yesterday it struck in the southern Gaza Strip and eliminated terrorist Ahmed Abu Mughaysib, head of a rocket-launching cell in the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization.

According to the IDF, the terrorist was involved in advancing attack plans against IDF troops and Israeli civilians and also took part in facilitating smuggling attempts into the Gaza Strip.

The IDF stated he was eliminated after posing a threat to IDF troops.

In addition, overnight, the IDF struck several Hamas terrorists in the central Gaza Strip who were advancing terror attacks and posed an immediate threat to IDF troops. One terrorist was eliminated, and hits on additional terrorists were identified.
