πŸͺ– IDF EXPANDS GROUND OPERATIONS IN SOUTHERN LEBANON, STRIKES HEZBOLLAH WEAPONS INFRASTRUCTURE, AND THWARTS IRAN-BASED AXIS OPERATIVES IN TEHRAN

πŸͺ– NORTHERN FRONT OPERATIONS: In recent days, IDF troops from the 36th Division began limited, targeted ground operations to strengthen the forward defense area in southern Lebanon. Operating alongside the 91st Division and following their previous deployment, the forces are continuing efforts to establish a forward defensive posture, remove threats, and create an additional layer of security for residents of northern Israel.

Prior to the troops’ entry, the IDF carried out artillery fire and Israeli Air Force strikes against numerous Hezbollah terror targets to reduce threats in the operational environment.

πŸ’₯ STRIKES ON HEZBOLLAH INFRASTRUCTURE: Yesterday, the Israeli Air Force struck a large underground terrorist infrastructure site in the area of Kfara in southern Lebanon. The strike was directed by the IDF Intelligence Directorate and Northern Command.

The site was used to store weapons stockpiles, including cruise missiles and hundreds of rockets. Over the past week, additional Hezbollah headquarters and terrorist infrastructure in Beirut were also struck after being used to plan and carry out numerous terror attacks against IDF troops and the State of Israel. Additional terrorist infrastructure in southern Lebanon was targeted as part of the forward defensive operations.

πŸš€ HEZBOLLAH FIRE RATE AND REMAINING ARSENAL: According to Israel Hayom, IDF estimates indicate Hezbollah is now firing rockets at about 20% of the rate it maintained before September 2024. Most launches are assessed to be coming from north of the Litani River in Lebanon.

Many launchers are reportedly hidden on the ground floors of residential homes, making them difficult to detect before launch. The IDF also estimates Hezbollah carried out its latest attacks with an arsenal of about 15,000 rockets and missiles, down roughly 90% from its October 2023 stockpile.

πŸͺ– IRAN AND AXIS OPERATIONS: IDF Chief of the General Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal: Zamir said in a morning situation assessment that the military continues operating against multiple targets in Iran and recorded significant preventive achievements overnight. These actions are assessed to have potential impact on operational outcomes and mission objectives.

Zamir said these achievements follow additional preventive measures carried out in recent days against external elements, including those connected to the Palestinian arena. During the assessment with the General Staff Forum, he instructed forces to continue pursuing operational opportunities as part of the broader campaign against the Iranian regime and its regional axis.

The IDF is continuing efforts to degrade Iran’s military and industrial production capabilities while targeting elements of the Revolutionary Guards and regime enforcement mechanisms. Among the operations highlighted was the thwarting of senior terror operatives from Gaza and Judea and Samaria who were located in a safe house in Tehran.

Zamir said Hezbollah remains a central front, with continued force buildup and precise ground activity focused on neutralizing threats to northern communities. In parallel, cooperation with U.S. Central Command continues to deepen and is contributing to greater operational effectiveness across multiple theaters.

The IDF states it will continue acting decisively to remove threats and protect Israeli civilians across all active arenas.
