🎯 ISLAMIC JIHAD OPERATIVES ELIMINATED IN LEBANON STRIKE: Earlier this week, the IDF struck Palestinian Islamic Jihad operatives near Majdal Anjar in Lebanon’s eastern Beqaa Valley as they attempted to cross from Lebanon into Syria. The military said the operatives had recently been advancing attacks against Israel from Lebanese territory and posed an immediate threat to Israeli civilians and IDF troops operating in the Syrian arena.
The strike occurred on a road leading from Damascus to Beirut, about 40 kilometers north of Israel’s border, according to the IDF. Lebanon’s health ministry reported four killed, while the IDF said it targeted two Islamic Jihad operatives. The IDF said it will continue operating to thwart weapons and terrorist transfers along the Lebanon–Syria border.
💥 HAMAS TUNNEL DESTROYED IN RAFAH: IDF forces destroyed another Hamas tunnel in Rafah in an operation led by Battalion 82 of the 7th Brigade together with Engineering Battalion 603 of Division 143 and the Uriah unit.
The activity was carried out in memory of fallen soldier Asael Babd, may his memory be blessed, who was wounded in an encounter in this sector.
🚑 UNEXPLODED ORDNANCE INCIDENT IN LIVE-FIRE ZONE NEAR TIRZAH: IDF soldiers responded to a report that three Palestinians were injured while playing with unexploded ordnance in the Tirzah area. The military emphasized the area is a prohibited live-fire zone and entry is forbidden.
Troops provided initial medical treatment at the scene, and the incident will be reviewed.
❌ ISIS CELL ARRESTED IN JERICHO: IDF and Israel Police arrested four Islamic State-affiliated suspects in two separate operations in Jericho in Judea and Samaria. A joint statement said the suspects were advancing terror activity and were suspected of intending to carry out an attack.
Troops from the Lions of the Valley Battalion captured three suspects last week, and Border Police arrested a fourth in a separate raid yesterday. All four were transferred to the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) for interrogation.
❌ WEAPONS DEALER DETAINED IN RAMALLAH: Yesterday, IDF forces, guided by the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet), operated in the Ramallah area and apprehended a terrorist who served as a weapons dealer within a Ramallah terror network. The suspect was transferred to the security service for further questioning.
