šÆ IDF TARGETS IRGC AIR FORCE HEADQUARTERS IN TEHRAN: The IDF said that, guided by military intelligence, Israeli forces targeted the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Air Force Headquarters during wide-scale strikes on dozens of Iranian regime targets.
According to the military, the headquarters served as the main command-and-control center directing the regimeās air force activity. Iranās ballistic missile command, UAV array, and other air force units operated from the site.
The headquarters was also responsible for producing the operational situational picture and planning missile attacks against the State of Israel and other countries in the region.

šÆ IRANIAN GENERAL ABOLGHASEM BABAEIAN ELIMINATED IN TEHRAN STRIKE: The IDF confirmed that Abolghasem Babaeian was eliminated in a strike in Tehran on Saturday.
Defense Minister Israel Katz had earlier said Babaeian was the military secretary to Iranās supreme leader and had been appointed last week despite the supreme leader role being vacant.
The IDF said the strike followed āreal-time emerging intelligence.ā Israeli Air Force fighter jets took off for Iran while the intelligence was still being consolidated, and within approximately 50 minutes of the information being received, the aircraft launched the munitions that killed Babaeian.
According to the military, Babaeian was also chief of staff at the Khatam-al Anbiya Central Headquarters, Iranās military emergency command. The IDF said that, in addition to being the intended head of the military bureau of the supreme leader, he was responsible for coordinating between regime bodies to advance actions against the State of Israel and to operate the regimeās emergency mechanisms.
The military said Babaeian had been appointed after Mohammad Shirazi, the previous chief of Ali Khameneiās military bureau, was killed in the opening strikes of the war alongside the supreme leader.
