💥 IDF OPERATIONS IN SOUTHERN LEBANON: IDF troops continue aerial and ground activity in southern Lebanon as part of a forward defensive posture following Hezbollah attacks on the Israeli home front. Field Reconnaissance units are operating to gather intelligence and direct IDF activity on the ground and from the air.
Since the start of Operation Roaring Lion, troops have identified and eliminated dozens of Hezbollah terrorists. They have also dismantled dozens of terrorist infrastructure sites, including weapons storage facilities, anti-tank positions, observation posts, and subterranean shafts.
In one incident earlier this week, troops identified and targeted two armed Hezbollah terrorists in the Bint Jbeil area. The strike was captured in footage released by the IDF.
💥 LITANI RIVER CROSSINGS TARGETED: The IDF struck and dismantled two crossings over the Litani River used by Hezbollah terrorists and commanders to move from northern to southern Lebanon. According to the IDF, the crossings were used to transfer thousands of weapons, including rockets and rocket launchers, for attacks south of the Litani against IDF troops and Israeli civilians.
The military says the crossings were targeted to prevent harm to both Israeli civilians and Lebanese civilians. Defense Minister Israel Katz says the bridges were "used to smuggle weapons and send Hezbollah terrorists" to southern Lebanon.
He describes the strikes as "a direct action against Hezbollah’s use of Lebanon’s state infrastructure to advance terrorist activity." Katz adds: "And also a clear message to the Lebanese government: The State of Israel will not allow such a reality."
🎯 IRANIAN REGIME OPERATIVES ELIMINATED IN WESTERN IRAN: Yesterday, the Israeli Air Force identified Iranian regime operatives at a military site in western Iran and targeted the site, eliminating several of them. In the aftermath, additional operatives were identified at the same location.
Some of those operatives attempted to flee and were eliminated in several separate strikes. The IDF says the strikes were made possible by Israeli aerial superiority in Iran following attacks on hundreds of the Iranian regime’s air defense systems throughout the country.
🚨 IRANIAN MISSILE ATTACK ON NORTHERN ISRAEL: Sirens sounded earlier in Haifa and across the Galilee and Golan Heights during Iran’s latest ballistic missile fire. It was the ninth Iranian attack on Israel today.
Initial reports of an impact in the Krayot suburbs of Haifa were later found to be a car crash that occurred during the sirens, not a direct missile impact or falling fragments. Magen David Adom says no injuries were caused by the missile attack itself and that two people in good condition were treated at the scene.
