❌ IDF Eliminates Hamas Sniper Commander in Northern Gaza: In response to a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement earlier this week, the IDF eliminated Ahmad Hasan, head of the sniper array in the Hamas Beit Hanoun Battalion.
Hasan took part in numerous terror attack plans against IDF soldiers in the northern Gaza Strip and was recently identified as working to advance additional plans. He led the July 7, 2025 attack in which Sergeant First Class (res.) Benyamin Asulin, Staff Sergeant Noam Aharon Musgadian, Staff Sergeant Meir Shimon Amar, Sergeant Moshe Nissim Frech, and Staff Sergeant Moshe Shmuel Noll were killed, and two additional soldiers were severely injured.
He also took part in advancing the April 19, 2025 attack in which Warrant Officer G'haleb Sliman Nasasra was killed, and a tracker, combat officer, and a female combat medic were severely injured. In an additional attack advanced by Hasan on April 24, 2025, Master Sergeant (res.) Asaf Cafri was killed and two additional soldiers were severely injured.
🪖 Hashmonaim Brigade Completes First Battalion-Level Exercise: The Yonatan Battalion of the Hashmonaim Brigade (613) completed, for the first time, a battalion-level exercise in the Golan Heights, concluding the battalion’s operational certification and its preparation for operational activity.
As part of the exercise, forces trained in open-area combat, raid operations, and urban warfare. Soldiers also completed specialized courses in explosives and demolitions, heavy machine-gun support fire, drone operations, anti-tank warfare, and sniper training, all adapted to their religious lifestyle and enabling the battalion to operate as an organic combat unit.
Commander of the Ground Forces, Maj. Gen. Nadav Lotan, said: “You can be Haredi and be a combat soldier — you are making history. The Hashmonaim Brigade continues to establish itself as a combat ground brigade. This exercise and the establishment of the battalions are another significant step toward that goal. I am proud of you, the brigade’s soldiers and commanders — you operate at a high operational standard while preserving your unique identity.”
Commander of the Yonatan Battalion, Lt. Col. Rabbi A., said: “We are in a historic period. We are cultivating God-fearing fighters — heroes, people of valor, and people of truth. Exceptional individuals who go at the forefront of the camp. We are building a process of trust and are at the beginning of the process. The battalion exercise is part of the battalion’s operational certification — a high-quality infantry battalion that will be prepared for all missions in every arena, with strength and creativity.”
🧠 Israel Security Agency Dismantles Lebanon-Directed Cell: The Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) says it dismantled a Palestinian cell operating under instructions from Lebanon.
The cell was allegedly tasked with documenting a Jewish settlement in Judea and Samaria and undergoing weapons training in preparation for a planned attack.
🇮🇱 Netanyahu Revokes Citizenship of Two Convicted Terrorists: For the first time in Israel’s history, Prime Minister Netanyahu signed an order revoking the citizenship of two Israeli citizens of Arab origin who were convicted of carrying out stabbing and shooting attacks, and ordering their deportation.
PM Netanyahu: "I signed this morning an order revoking the citizenship and deporting two Israeli terrorists who carried out stabbing and shooting attacks against Israeli civilians and were rewarded for their heinous acts by the Palestinian Authority. I thank Coalition Chairman Ofir Katz for leading the legislation that will expel them from the State of Israel — and many more like them are on the way."
