❌ Gaza Strip terrorist eliminated after crossing ceasefire line: Earlier today, IDF troops operating in the southern Gaza Strip identified a terrorist who crossed the Yellow Line and approached forces, posing an imminent threat to their safety.
The Israeli Air Force struck and eliminated the terrorist to remove the threat.
❗️ Israeli civilians and activists illegally enter Gaza Strip: Yesterday, several Israeli civilians crossed from Israeli territory into the Gaza Strip and were continuously tracked by IDF surveillance.
IDF troops apprehended the individuals, returned them safely to Israeli territory, and transferred them to Israel Police for further handling.
The IDF strongly condemned the civilian crossings, saying they endanger both civilians and soldiers in the area.
Also, a group of settler activists, including MK Limor Son Har-Melech, illegally breached into the Gaza Strip, prompting the IDF to dispatch troops to the scene.
"We were privileged, with thanks to the blessed G-d, to enter the Gaza Strip, together with the Nachala movement and dozens of families, women, men, and children," the Otzma Yehudit lawmaker wrote on social media.
Activists from the ultra-nationalist Nachala settlement organization said they crossed the Gaza border with vehicles and planted trees in the area.
🏮 Ramadan controlled Palestinian access from Judea and Samaria to Jerusalem: Thousands of Palestinians from Judea and Samaria crossed Israeli checkpoints into Jerusalem this morning for the first Friday Ramadan prayers at the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound.
Israel said it would cap weekly attendance from Judea and Samaria at 10,000 worshipers.
Like last year, only men aged 55 and up, women 50 and up, and children 12 and below accompanied by a first-degree relative are permitted to attend.
The restrictions apply only to the 10,000 Palestinians traveling from Judea and Samaria and not to Muslim Arab Israeli citizens.
COGAT chief Maj. Gen. Yoram Halevy, Civil Administration head Brig. Gen. Hisham Ibrahim, Jerusalem District police chief Deputy Commissioner Avshalom Peled, and Border Police chief Deputy Commissioner Brik Yitzhak are holding an assessment at the Qalandiya checkpoint.
Israeli authorities said about 2,000 Palestinians crossed there this morning.
