❌ IDF ELIMINATES BASIJ COMMANDER IN TEHRAN STRIKES AS ISRAEL TARGETS IRANIAN REGIME AND HEZBOLLAH INFRASTRUCTURE IN TEHRAN AND BEIRUT

💥 WIDESPREAD STRIKES IN IRAN AND LEBANON: The IDF carried out a wide-scale wave of overnight strikes on Iranian regime infrastructure across Tehran. The IDF also began an additional wave of strikes on Hezbollah terror infrastructure in Beirut.

🎯 BASIJ COMMANDER TARGETED IN A PRECISE STRIKE: According to the IDF, the Israeli Air Force, acting on IDF intelligence, targeted and eliminated Gholamreza Soleimani, who served as commander of the Basij unit for the past six years.

The Basij forces are part of the armed apparatus of the Iranian terror regime. During internal protests in Iran, especially as demonstrations intensified in recent periods, Basij forces under Soleimani’s command led major repression operations involving severe violence, widespread arrests, and the use of force against civilian demonstrators.

❌ MULTIPLE SENIOR BASIJ OFFICIALS WERE ALSO TARGETED: A senior Israeli official told Fox News: “Over a dozen Basij officials were targeted in Iran last night in different strikes, including the head of the Basij forces Gholamreza Soleimani. This was a joint U.S. and Israeli effort."

The same official added: "A strike in Tehran targeted the Basij commander and around a dozen others, including the most senior figures in the Basij forces—people with a lot of blood on their hands."

A battle damage assessment is ongoing to determine which individuals were killed or injured.

The strike on Soleimani adds to the elimination of dozens of senior commanders from the armed forces of the Iranian regime during the operation and marks another significant blow to the regime’s security command-and-control structures.

❌ The strike on the Basij leadership was separate from the strike that targeted Ali Larijani. Ali Larijani, a senior Iranian regime official at the center of Tehran’s security apparatus, was also reportedly eliminated in an overnight Israeli strike.

💥 Coordinated strikes across Iran: Dozens of Israeli Air Force fighter jets, acting on IDF intelligence, completed a wave of strikes on Iranian terror regime infrastructure in Tehran, Shiraz, and Tabriz. The targets included missile production sites and command centers as the IDF continues efforts to damage the regime’s systems and capabilities.

💥 Tehran strikes hit intelligence, missile, and air defense infrastructure

During the strikes in Tehran, dozens of munitions were dropped on command centers belonging to the Iranian regime’s security bodies, including the Ministry of Intelligence and the Basij. Sites used to store and launch UAVs, ballistic missiles, and air defense systems were also struck.

💥 Shiraz and Tabriz targets expand operational impact: In Shiraz, the internal security forces’ command center and a ballistic missile site were struck. In Tabriz, additional Iranian terror regime air defense systems were dismantled, further expanding aerial superiority in the region and helping protect the State of Israel.

❗️ Reported losses inside the regime’s security apparatus: Opposition-linked outlet Iran International reports that more than 5,000 military and security personnel have reportedly been killed and over 15,000 wounded. The reported toll points to severe and mounting losses inside the regime’s core security apparatus as sustained strikes continue to degrade Iran’s military capabilities.
