💥 Hezbollah Intelligence Infrastructure Struck in Beirut: The IDF completed a wave of strikes on Hezbollah intelligence headquarters assets in Beirut, including command centers, weapons storage facilities, and satellite communication components.
The IDF said the targets were operating under civilian cover and included communication sites used as terrorist infrastructure for carrying out attacks, intelligence gathering, and support for propaganda efforts. According to the IDF, the assets struck were used to plan and execute attacks against IDF soldiers and Israeli civilians.
Prior to the strikes, the IDF said it took steps to mitigate harm to civilians, including advanced warnings, precise munitions, and aerial surveillance.
❌ Senior Hezbollah Weapons Buildup Figure Eliminated: Yesterday, the Israeli Navy conducted an intelligence-based strike in the Beirut area and eliminated Reza Khuza'i, head of Hezbollah’s weapons buildup operations and Chief of Staff of the Lebanon Corps in the Iranian Quds Force.
The IDF said Khuza'i served as the right-hand man of the Lebanon Corps commander and was a key actor in Hezbollah’s capability buildup. He was responsible for communications between Hezbollah and the Iranian regime, including ensuring Iranian supplies matched Hezbollah’s needs.
The IDF said he led efforts to build up Hezbollah’s military capability and equipment, implemented capacity-building plans, and oversaw rehabilitation of the organization after Operation Northern Arrow. The IDF added that he played a key role in weapons smuggling from Iran into Lebanon and oversaw Hezbollah weapons manufacturing programs on Lebanese soil.
❌ Palestinian Islamic Jihad Commander Eliminated in Beirut:;Overnight, the IDF struck in the Beirut area and eliminated Abu Hamza Rami, commander of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist organization in the Lebanon sector.
The IDF said Rami held the position for several years and was responsible for advancing and carrying out hundreds of attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians. It said he recently advanced additional attacks from within Lebanon, including training Nukhba terrorists, recruiting terrorists, and procuring weapons.
During Operation “Northern Arrows,” the IDF said Rami managed the movement of the organization’s terrorists along the Syria-Lebanon border and their activities against IDF troops in southern Lebanon. The IDF said his elimination severely degraded Palestinian Islamic Jihad’s ability to carry out terror operations against the State of Israel and its citizens.
🛸 UAV Interceptions and False Identification: Following sirens at 04:43 for a hostile aircraft identification in the Western Galilee, the Israeli Air Force intercepted two UAVs that crossed into Israeli territory from Lebanon.
Following sirens at 04:37 in HaGoshrim, the incident was determined to be a false identification.
