💥 IDF LAUNCHES TARGETED RAID IN SOUTHERN LEBANON: Overnight, IDF troops began a targeted and limited raid in an area in southern Lebanon to locate and eliminate terrorists and dismantle Hezbollah infrastructure. Prior to the entry of ground forces, heavy firepower was employed and numerous terrorist targets were struck from both the air and the ground.
The operation is part of an effort to strengthen forward defensive positions and create an additional layer of protection for residents of northern Israel. Troops of the 300th Brigade, under the command of the 146th Division, are operating in southern Lebanon as part of this forward defensive effort.
The IDF said it will continue to act decisively against the Hezbollah terrorist organization, which chose to join the war and operate on behalf of the Iranian regime.
🎯 HEZBOLLAH TERROR CELL ELIMINATED IN SOUTHERN LEBANON: During operations, troops identified a Hezbollah terrorist cell entering and attempting to exploit a site in a Christian area in southern Lebanon. Following the identification, the forces directed an Israeli Air Force fighter jet that struck and eliminated the terrorist cell.
The IDF said the presence of terrorists in the area is another example of Hezbollah’s exploitation of civilian infrastructure for terrorist activity.
💥 IAF STRIKES ROCKET AND MISSILE LAUNCHERS IN SOUTHERN LEBANON: In response to rocket fire toward Israeli territory, the Israeli Air Force completed additional waves of strikes in Lebanon over the past several days. During the strikes, dozens of rocket and missile launchers belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization were dismantled.
The launchers were located south of the Litani River and had been used to launch rockets and missiles toward Israel. In parallel, the IAF continues to successfully intercept dozens of unmanned aerial vehicles launched by Hezbollah toward Israeli territory.
