❌ Judea and Samaria: IDF and Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) counterterror arrests near Nablus: Earlier today, IDF troops operating on Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) intelligence carried out counterterrorism activity in the Nablus area and apprehended two wanted Palestinians suspected of advancing attacks against Israeli forces and civilians.
In two separate villages near Nablus, Duvdevan commandos arrested a suspect previously identified with the former Lion’s Den network and an additional operative involved in manufacturing explosive devices. 🪖 IDF reserve policy measures after Deputy Chief of Staff review: Following a meeting between IDF Chief of the General Staff LTG Eyal Zamir and reserve brigade commanders, the Chief of Staff ordered a review led by the Deputy Chief of Staff in response to concerns raised from the field.
Based on the findings, the IDF decided on measures addressing reserve service conditions, support frameworks, and readiness allocations, while stating that the rights of reservists already called up will not be harmed. The IDF said all reserve-duty days previously committed under the existing policy will be fully honored, and the updated policy framework will take effect starting in April.
Reserve brigade and regional brigade commanders will receive independently managed, designated allocations to strengthen support systems and family assistance with reduced bureaucracy. A separate allocation of reserve-duty days will also be provided to these commanders to enhance readiness and operational competence in the current security environment.
LTG Zamir emphasized the central role of reservists in Israel’s security and said the IDF is committed to transparency, fairness, and responsible conduct toward them, reflecting deep appreciation for their sacrifice and continued service. The IDF added it will continue efforts to ease the significant burden on reserve personnel, subject to the evolving security situation and required legislation.
