In recent hours, IAF aircraft have been operating with air superiority over Tehran, striking targets that included ballistic missile launchers, headquarters, Iranian air defense systems, and command centers of the Iranian terrorist regime.
The military says IAF fighter jets have carried out more than 700 sorties and dropped over 2,000 bombs in hundreds of strikes against Iranian regime targets and military sites in roughly 30 hours. The IDF says this is around half of what the IAF used over the entire 12-day war in June 2025, but in just 30 hours, and notes the operation has involved thousands of munitions.
The IDF says IAF fighter jets are now using “stand-in” weapons over Tehran, meaning bombs dropped directly over targets rather than ranged missiles. The military says it seeks to maintain air supremacy as it continues strikes on regime targets in the capital.
🛡 More than 50 Iranian UAVs intercepted since the start of the operation: The IDF says air defense and control arrays, together with IAF fighter jets and attack helicopters, have intercepted more than 50 unmanned aerial vehicles launched from Iran toward Israel since the operation began.

🟥 IRGC CLAIMS TANKER ATTACKS; CNN REPORTS SAUDI AUTHORIZATION TO RESPOND: Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said they attacked three U.S. and British oil tankers in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz area, claiming they are burning.
CNN reported the Saudi crown prince has authorized the Saudi military to respond to the Iranian attacks.
A short while ago, a Home Front Command alert regarding a suspected security incident was sounded in the area of Tzur Yitzhak following the identification of a breach in the community’s fence.
