❗️ HEZBOLLAH ROCKET BARRAGE DAMAGES HOME IN KARMIEL; UAE SIGNALS OPENNESS TO JOIN U.S.-LED HORMUZ NAVAL PROTECTION EFFORT

🚀 Damage in Karmiel following rocket fire: A home in the northern city of Karmiel was damaged during Hezbollah’s rocket barrage this evening.

Authorities say it is not yet clear whether the damage was caused by a direct rocket impact or falling fragments from an interception. No injuries have been reported.

⚔️ U.S. EXPLORES SYRIA OPTION AGAINST HEZBOLLAH: Reuters reports that the U.S. pushed Syria to consider sending forces into Lebanon to counter Hezbollah. Syria was described as hesitant due to fears of escalation, Iranian retaliation, and sectarian unrest. Damascus and Arab allies agreed to stay out of the war for now, though the option of intervention remains on the table if the conflict escalates.

❗️ ISRAELI OFFICIALS SAY ASSESSMENT OF REGIME INSTABILITY IS GROWING: A senior Israeli diplomatic official said: "The assessment in Israel and the U.S. that the fall of the Iranian regime is a real possibility is strengthening."

The statement follows last night’s assassinations of Ali Larijani and the Basij commander in Israeli Air Force strikes, and comes amid questions over whether protesters in Iran could return to the streets.

Israeli officials also rejected a Washington Post report claiming Israeli officials told U.S. diplomats that Iranian protesters would be “slaughtered” if they rose up against the regime, calling it “complete nonsense.” Security officials added that the Basij today is not what it was months ago, and neither is Iran’s internal security apparatus. They said the intelligence ministry responsible for monitoring civilian organizing has also been hit.

Officials said Israel’s goal is to reduce the Basij’s capability and effectiveness as much as possible by eliminating commanders, destroying infrastructure, leaving them without bases or equipment, and taking out street checkpoints from the air. They added that the removal of those checkpoints also sends a psychological message to Iranians who now see them disappearing.

“The damage is not absolute,” officials say, “but it is real — and it is growing and continuing.”

❗️ PRESIDENT TRUMP, FRANCE, AND THE HORMUZ COALITION: President Trump: "NATO made a grave mistake regarding Iran and this was a test for the alliance". President Trump: "We are not ready to exit the war with Iran now, but that will happen in the near future".

After Trump hinted that France would join the "Hormuz Coalition," Macron declared that France would not take part in the liberation of Hormuz until the "acts of hostility" cease. Trump then responded: Macron will finish his term soon.

🌍 UAE signals openness to maritime security effort: The United Arab Emirates says it is open to joining a U.S.-led naval initiative to protect shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.

According to Reuters, no plan has been finalized and discussions are ongoing.

🎯 ALI LARIJANI ELIMINATED AFTER EXTENSIVE INTELLIGENCE TRACKING: Iran International reports that Ali Larijani’s son and deputy were also killed in the attack last night. Larijani was defined as the number one target after Khamenei, and extensive intelligence and operational efforts were made to locate him.

He was described as behaving like a wanted target in every respect, never staying in the same place and maintaining exceptionally high security awareness, reflecting the level of alertness and suspicion the regime had reached.

Officials said a combination of special capabilities, together with rapid decision-making at the political level and by the Chief of Staff, led to his elimination. Aircraft were scrambled and the operation was launched on short notice, highlighting both the intelligence alert and the ability to make real-time decisions at long range.
