💥 GAZA TUNNEL NETWORK DISMANTLED: Troops from the 188th Brigade, operating under the Gaza Division with Yahalom personnel, dismantled more than 10 Hamas underground terror tunnel routes in the southern Gaza Strip. One of the routes had been used to hold hostages.
The troops located a large quantity of weapons, including rocket launchers, rockets, grenades, explosive devices and Kalashnikov rifles. They also established new defensive routes and posts to strengthen the defensive posture in the area.
The brigade has spent the past eight months conducting defensive operations in the southern Gaza Strip and clearing the Yellow Line area of above-ground and underground terrorist infrastructure.
💥 FOUR HAMAS WEAPON STORAGE FACILITIES DISMANTLED: Overnight, the IDF and Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) struck several areas of the Gaza Strip and dismantled four Hamas weapon storage facilities.
The facilities contained Kalashnikov rifles, explosive devices, ammunition and military equipment intended to harm IDF troops operating near the Yellow Line and Israeli civilians.
The IDF said Hamas continues to systematically violate the ceasefire agreement while attempting to rehabilitate its military capabilities.
❌ WIDE-SCALE OPERATION IN BEIT UMMAR: Over the past 24 hours, the IDF, Israel Security Agency and Israel Border Police concluded a wide-scale counterterrorism operation in the Beit Ummar area of the Etzion Regional Brigade.
Troops searched more than 170 structures, apprehended wanted individuals and located various types of weapons.
The wanted individuals had recently carried out gunfire connected to a conflict between local families. Authorities were concerned that the shooting could expand and be directed toward surrounding communities.
Israel Police forces also apprehended a wanted individual yesterday who had been involved in gunfire during the conflict.
🛡️ VEHICULAR ATTACK FOILED IN SAMARIA: During operational activity in the village of al-Baytat in the Samaria Brigade area, a terrorist accelerated his vehicle toward IDF troops and ignored repeated calls to stop.
The troops carried out the standard suspect-arrest procedure, including opening fire at the terrorist, who was neutralized.
There were no casualties among Israeli forces.
