🇺🇸🇮🇷 CEASEFIRE EXTENSION AND NEGOTIATION WINDOW: Fox News reports that President Trump extended the ceasefire with Iran by only 3 to 5 days. He told the New York Post there is a possibility of a negotiation meeting with Iran within the next three days.
Axios, citing a U.S. official, also reported that the duration of the extended ceasefire is between three and five days. Iranian television said Iran has submitted its response to Pakistan’s request to extend the ceasefire.
♟️ IRAN INTERNAL POSITION AND U.S. MILITARY POSTURE: A member of Iran’s National Security Commission said Mojtaba Khamenei opposes negotiations and any deal regarding the nuclear program.
Fox News also reports that the ceasefire extension overlaps with the deployment of a third U.S. strike group led by the aircraft carrier George Bush to the region.
‼️ NETANYAHU: ISRAEL PREPARED FOR ALL SCENARIOS: Prime Minister Netanyahu said during a meeting with Iron Dome personnel: "Prepared for every scenario"
He also said Israel is ready for any scenario, in both defense and offense.
❗️ IRAN SEIZES VESSELS IN THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ: The IRGC Navy claims it seized two vessels, MSC Francesca and EPAMINODES, for operating without authorization and directed them to Iranian territorial waters, according to Tasnim.
Iran also announced the seizure of two vessels that attempted to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. The ships, MSC Francesca, which has Israeli links, and EPAMINODES, were transferred to Iranian waters until further notice.
A third commercial vessel, EUPHORIA, was reportedly struck by Iran while attempting to cross the Strait of Hormuz and enter the Gulf of Oman. The vessel remains stranded in international waters.

Lufthansa announced the cancellation of 20,000 flights to save fuel. Routes from Frankfurt am Main and Munich will be removed, while flights from Zurich, Vienna, and Brussels will be expanded. Flights to and from Rome will also be reduced.
French President Emmanuel Macron announced the death of a second French UNIFIL soldier, Corporal Anicet Girardin, who died today from wounds sustained during the Hezbollah ambush in southern Lebanon on April 18. That ambush also killed Warrant Officer Florian Montorio.
