🚑 Medical response update: Magen David Adom says that at this stage there are no known casualties. Teams are treating a small number of people who were injured while making their way to protected spaces, along with others suffering from anxiety. Further updates will be provided if necessary.
🗣️ IRANIAN DENIALS AND PUBLIC MESSAGING: Mohammad Ghalibaf stated: "Our people demand the complete and humiliating punishment of the aggressors. All officials stand firmly behind their Leader and people until this goal is achieved. No negotiations with America have taken place. Fake news is intended to manipulate financial and oil markets and to escape the quagmire in which America and Israel are trapped".
Iran’s Foreign Ministry said messages had been received through intermediary countries regarding U.S. requests for negotiations, but stated that no negotiations have taken place.
A senior Iranian official told Al Jazeera: "The US President does not have the authority to set conditions or deadlines for negotiations".
The same official added: "Messages have been exchanged between Tehran and Washington via Egypt and Turkey, out of goodwill to reduce tensions. Washington so far refuses to accept two basic conditions, namely paying compensation and acknowledging the aggression against us".
IRGC Aerospace Force Commander Majid Moosavi said: "The fighting will continue until the national and patriotic goals are achieved".
💣 ADDITIONAL REGIONAL SECURITY INDICATORS: U.S. officials told CBS News that intelligence estimates indicate Iran has placed around a dozen naval mines in the Strait of Hormuz.
🔸 EXTENDED U.S. DEADLINE AND POSSIBLE NEXT STEPS: President Trump has extended his ultimatum to Iran by five days while fighting continues.
Possible outcomes being assessed include a major U.S. strike on Iranian infrastructure with regional retaliation, limited reciprocal strikes that preserve the current conflict pattern, a pause to reassess strategy, or a diplomatic breakthrough through covert channels.
Concerns remain that any agreement that leaves Iran’s nuclear and missile capabilities in place could pose long-term risks.
The assessment says developments in covert channels are likely to shape the outcome, and warns that continued Iranian provocation could trigger unexpected U.S. military action before the extended deadline expires.
