💥 ISRAELI AIR FORCE STRIKES IRANIAN OIL INFRASTRUCTURE IN TEHRAN AS IDF REPORTS OVER 3,400 STRIKES AND 7,500 BOMBS DROPPED IN WEEK-LONG CAMPAIGN; HAMAS OPERATIVE TARGETED IN GAZA DRONE STRIKE

💥 Israeli Air Force strikes Iranian oil infrastructure in Tehran: Footage posted to social media shows Israeli strikes hitting Iranian oil infrastructure in the capital. This appears to be the first time since the start of the current war that Israel has targeted national infrastructure inside Iran.

The IDF said a short while ago that it had launched a new wave of strikes on Iranian regime infrastructure in Tehran. Further details are to be provided later.

🪖 IDF outlines scale of air campaign in Iran: IDF Spokesman Brig. Gen. Effie Defrin said the Israeli Air Force has dropped more than 7,500 bombs during strikes in Iran over the past week.

"This is twice the number of [munitions] dropped during Operation Rising Lion," he says, referring to Israel's 12-day war with Iran in June 2025.

He says that more than 3,400 strikes have been carried out in total.

Israeli security officials also assess that Mojtaba Khamenei, a son of Iran's late supreme leader Ali Khamenei, is still alive after being targeted in an airstrike this past week. According to the Israeli assessment, he was wounded in the strike.

🔹 IAF Commander Praises Technicians for Critical Role in Opening Phase of Operation “Roaring Lion”: Israeli Air Force Commander MG Tomer Bar visited Tel Nof Air Force Base on Friday, meeting with IAF technicians and highlighting their decisive contribution to the operation’s early success. He emphasized that the offensive approach implemented by the Air Force in the opening phase played a major role in saving Israeli lives.

Bar said the first 72 hours of the campaign were extraordinary, noting that no air force in the world could have achieved what the IAF accomplished in that timeframe. The effort focused on rapidly establishing operational control to suppress Iranian surface-to-surface missile capabilities that could have been launched toward Israel. Although missile barrages did occur, he said the aggressive offensive campaign significantly reduced the scale of fire directed at Israel.

He credited the technicians’ work preparing aircraft and rapidly resolving malfunctions as essential to the operational deception that helped enable the campaign’s success. According to Bar, once the initial phase reduced incoming fire, the Air Force was able to transition into a phase of “peak lethality,” continuing the operation at what he described as a steady and deliberate pace.

Bar also praised the technicians for the trust and confidence they provide to pilots, saying that sitting in a combat aircraft prepared and maintained by their teams — knowing it is fully ready for the mission and safe for the return — is a powerful source of pride for the entire force. He concluded by expressing deep appreciation for their determination and professionalism, stating that the Air Force will continue its operations.

❌ Hamas operative targeted in Gaza drone strike: The military says a Hamas operative who was planning a sniper attack against troops stationed in the Gaza Strip was targeted in a drone strike earlier today.

According to the IDF, the operative was "involved in advancing a sniper attack against IDF troops operating in the southern Gaza Strip, in the immediate time frame."

"The terrorist posed an immediate threat to IDF troops, and was therefore struck in a precise manner to remove the threat," the military says.
